  Hello!!
Bangalore, Grateful, Loyalty
, BruisedReed
Thank you for the nice warm cheery welcome matt.
I'm writing this knowing I will be unable to post it; as I haven't yet received an activation code.
I don't see a introduction page so I guess this is it.
I've read very little here, so I'm not sure what this board is truly about.  But I wanted to try the paltalk discussions so I signed up. I'm always looking for Christain enlightenment.
I did see that it seems that some here are ex- Jehovah's Witnesses.  I will state that although I do not and have never belonged to any 'church'; throughout my live some of my best friends and family members have been Jehovah's Witnesses and I'm somewhat familiar with that organization.  And I will state that, although I don't agree with much that goes on in it, I think what I see on a lot of boards in the villainizings of it as a whole (the people ) is in my opinion a bit prejudice.  It's been my experience in my search for the truth that at this time there simply isn't a pure church. So I personally have chosen not to join any.  Now I have found that there are a few church groups amongst the Bible Students that seem closer to Christian freedom; but they are all too far from where I live to attend.  Even though I do not agree with all that they teach either; I think maybe that they may be ones that I might be able to sit in on their meetings for fellowship. Oh well, if the only way I can worship God in spirit and truth is alone then so be it. Yet I never am. ... the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSH 1:9  ... lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. MT 28:20
My basic beliefs are as most "Bible Students" and " Jehovah's Witnesses" hebraic/arian/unitarian, millenialist, hell is the grave, the 144,000 only go to heaven. But when any go beyond what the scriptures clearly say, then I don't necessarily believe.
I do not believe as the Jehovah's Witnesses on one very important teaching (thanks to my readings at http://studies.reslight.net/index.html) and that is I do not believe that the people that die in Armageddon will not get a resurrection.  My studies have brought me to the conclusion that there has not been any previous judgment day upon any large group of humans that has condemned them to eternal death.
One more point, I believe that the letters to the churches in Revelation are examples of all the churches throughout the gospel years.  Though there isn't a pure church at this time like there was when the apostles were alive; the rest of the examples where Jesus tells them the things that they need to work on, I believe fits all the churches today in some way.  And that there are a few in those churches that are true followers of Jesus'.  Those churches are told to repent or else.  When they show that they are unrepentant then it is time to get out and/or stay out of them.
OK I think that's enough of an introduction.  Thank you all again for your kind welcome.
God bless,
  PPCM_

And to you the vow will be paid.
O Hearer of prayer, even to you people of all flesh will come."

Hello gogh,
Thank you for the greeting and for your kind comment.
Yes, we must always continue to improve ourselves, to become more like the image of His glory, that is Jesus Christ. And seeking enlightenment is just one way.
God bless,PPCM_

Hello observant and man hu,
Thank you both for the notes.
God willing I'll be around. But don't expect much from me at the meetings; I'm on a real slow dail up and things move a bit fast for me. Slow on both lines I'm afraid.
