I had a good friend of mine send this to me. It's a memoir of her journey to Uganda in 1994 when she was there with her ministry and red cross. I thought I would share this as I found it moving. Some of the children you see in the pictures were refugees from Rwanda and Carol Armstrong, a woman I have only the utmost respect and love for is the one who took the pictures. Mind you, about five months later when the some of the refugees started going home (sadly, some of these people died on their journey home) their funding was cut and they had to go home. Her dream is to someday return to West Africa and try to improve the lives of the children and people there so they too have a future so many Americans squander.
