IM a designer by trade...I always find visuals interesting...

Notice how the wicked world is usually drinking from martini or bar glasses. But in images of the paradise, people are eating fruit and cheese and drinking from wine glasses at a picnic. Funny how different forms of fermentation can represent evil or good.

I wonder of Jesus could have enjoyed a good 12 year old scotch at that wedding if it was offered to him?

I noticed the question mark by the toes partly of molded clay of a potter and partly of iron.

Did the WTS not have an interpretaion for the toes?

Here is the previous "light" concerning the feet and toes from the 1999 book "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy" p.57,58.

"24 Britain was once a northwestern part of the Roman Empire. But by the year 1763, it had become the British Empire—the Britannia that ruled the seven seas. By 1776 its 13 American colonies had declared their independence in order to set up the United States of America. In later years, however, Britain and the United States became partners in both war and peace. Thus, the Anglo-American combination came into existence as the seventh world power of Bible prophecy. Like the Roman Empire, it has proved to be “strong like iron,” exercising ironlike authority. The iron legs of the dream image thus include both the Roman Empire and the Anglo-American dual world power.

25 Daniel next told Nebuchadnezzar: “Whereas you beheld the feet and the toes to be partly of molded clay of a potter and partly of iron, the kingdom itself will prove to be divided, but somewhat of the hardness of iron will prove to be in it, forasmuch as you beheld the iron mixed with moist clay. And as for the toes of the feet being partly of iron and partly of molded clay, the kingdom will partly prove to be strong and will partly prove to be fragile. Whereas you beheld iron mixed with moist clay, they will come to be mixed with the offspring of mankind; but they will not prove to be sticking together, this one to that one, just as iron is not mixing with molded clay.”—Daniel 2:41-43.
26 The succession of world powers represented by the various parts of the image in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream began with the head and extended down to the feet. Logically, the feet and toes of “iron mixed with moist clay” would symbolize the final manifestation of human rule that would exist during “the time of the end.”—Daniel 12:4.
27 At the dawn of the 20th century, the British Empire ruled over every fourth person on earth. Other European empires controlled millions more. But World War I resulted in the emergence of groups of nations in place of empires. After World War II, this trend accelerated. As nationalism developed further, the number of nations in the world grew dramatically. The ten toes of the image represent all such coexisting powers and governments, for in the Bible the number ten at times signifies earthly completeness.—Compare Exodus 34:28; Matthew 25:1; Revelation 2:10.
28 Now that we are in “the time of the end,” we have reached the feet of the image. Some of the governments pictured by the image’s feet and toes of iron mixed with clay are ironlike—authoritarian or tyrannical. Others are claylike. In what way? Daniel associated the clay with “the offspring of mankind.” (Daniel 2:43) Despite the fragile nature of clay, of which the offspring of mankind are made, traditional ironlike rulerships have been obliged to listen more and more to the common people, who want their say in the governments ruling over them. (Job 10:9) But there is no sticking together of authoritarian rule and the common people—no more than there could be a uniting of iron with clay. At the time of the image’s demise, the world will indeed be politically fragmented!"

It seems that in 1999 they believed the power of the Rome/Anglo-American "legs" had ended and we were in the time of the "feet", having a politically divided world.
So it looks like they've now moved the Anglo-American power from being included with Rome in the legs and now are including it with the feet. So either they decided the Anglo-American power still holds authority or they are going to say we are in the time of the "toes" now,... who knows.

They certainly did seem to leave the time of the "toes" as an open ended possibility.

It gives them somewhere else to go with their interpretations.

Yes, that mixing with the "offspring of mankind" suggests that "they" are perhaps not the "offspring of mankind".

Lots of opportunity for some very interesting interpretations.

I will post this one last time...

I had a vison where I saw a pretty older woman getting all dressed up and she was wearing purple and red . She had her luggage packed and she was leaving out the door.

Then I heard a voice say." 'THE WOMAN OF PURPLE AND SCARLET IS LEAVING...ARE YOU READY?

I wondered alot about this. Then last week I got a small message printed on a tract in the mail, and there was no return address..only the enitials J.C.. It was sent from Arizona. I use a fake name on the internet, and I never put my real address. I am a very secret person.

here is what the small tract said.

"ARE YOU READY TO DIE?"

A sudden phone call informed me that my sister-in-law had died. She did not want to die, but she was ready.

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who are ready to die, and those who are not ready.

Each human being has an appointment to die. God says in the Bible , " It is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment..(Hebrews 9:27)

Death is certain, and judgment is a reality.


Like my sister-in-law, I'm ready to die, for I am ready to meet god. One day I realized I was guilty of sin, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Then I heard the good news that Christ loved me and died on the cross for me. Yes, Jesus took my sin and thus satisfied God's judgment on sin so that I could be forgiven. Romans 5:8 tells us that .."God commendeth His love toward us, that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

I invited Jesus to become my Savior and through that act I became ready to die. On the basis of God's Word, I have perfect assurance that when my life on this earth is over, I am going to heaven to live forever with my Savior, for the scripture says that whoever believes on Jesus Christ has everlasting life. (John 3:36)

Would'nt you like to be ready to die and meet God? Your life on this earth is very brief. "What is your life? It is like a vapor that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away" (James 4:14) It is short and uncertain; however, everyone will live forever either in heaven with God or seperated from Him. "Your iniquities have seperated you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you" ( Isaiah 59:2 )

Today you need to decide where you will spend eternity. You can spend eternity in heaven if you turn away from your sin and receive Christ as your Savior. Then you can face death fearlessly, for your hope will be in Christ. If you are willing to accept Him, pray this prayer:

"DEAR FATHER, I WANT TO BE READY TO DIE AND MEET YOUR SON AND I ADMIT THAT I HAVE DONE WRONG AND I AM A SINNER. I BELIEVE YOUR SON SUFFERED AND DIED FOR MY SINS AND HE AROSE FROM THE DEAD. RIGHT NOW I ACCEPT YOUR SON AS MY SAVIOR AND WANT YOU TO CHANGE MY LIFE THROUGH YOUR SON. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME AND GIVING ME EVERLASTING LIFE THROUGH YOUR SON, IN CHRIST'S NAME... AMEN

I WAS RUSHING AROUND GETTING THINGS READY FOR THE BIG WEDDING TO BEGIN.

I WAS IN CHARGE BECAUSE I WAS THE MATRON OF HONOR. THINGS WERE GOING GREAT, I HAD

EVERYTHING ALL READY, AND THEN SOMETHING HAPPENED WHICH HAD ME SO STRESSED, BECAUSE I THOUGHT

THE WEDDING WOULD BE RUINED. THERE WERE MANY TV'S TO ANNOUNCE THE WEDDING LIVE FOR THE

WORLD TO WATCH , BUT SUDDENLY THE TV'S LOST TRANSMISSION, AND WE COULD'NT GET THEM UP AND RUNNING.

I THOUGHT..OH NO..NOT ANOTHER DELAY!!! I RUSHED AROUND...TRYING TO FIX THIS, AND THEN JUST WHEN I WAS

SO UPSET AND WORRIED THAT I COULD'NT FIX THIS, SOMEONE YELLED..."HERE WE GO"!!...WE GOT IT!!!...IT'S A GO!!

"THERE WILL BE NO MORE DELAY!"


ALL THE LITTLE CHILDREN STARTED DANCING AROUND, AND SO HAPPY THAT WE COULD HAVE THE WEDDING NOW, AND I WAS SOOOOO
HAPPY...I HUGGED THE BRIDE SO HARD, AND THEN I HEARD THE GROOM SPEAK AND HE SAID....

The Angel and the Little Scroll
1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. 2 He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. 4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’[a]” 10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. 11 Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”

The Two Witnesses
1 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” 4 They are “the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.” 5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. 6 They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified. 9 For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. 10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

11 But after the three and a half days the breath[c] of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.

The Seventh Trumpet
15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:
“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.”

16 And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying:

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.
18 The nations were angry,
and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your people who revere your name,
both great and small—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.

I see here some discussion regarding interpretation of the great image of Daniel 2 .

In fact that image is an image of the "society" from its apparition ( after 1872) until God's Kingdom comes to earth (and this "society" is broken in pieces )

the toes partly of iron and partly of clay do represents two types of human character of those involved in this society ( the organization ruled by WTBTS )

the iron :
Isaiah 48:
4. Because I knew that thou art obstinate,
and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;

the "iron" = those who don't let themselves be modeled/shaped by God's word , those who are opposing to God's commandments

the clay
Isaiah 64:
8. But now, O Jehovah, thou art our Father; we are the clay,
and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

the "clay" = those (characters) who let Father's word works in their hearth and are ready to make changes (repent)

Today the "angels" send by Jesus are sounding with "God's trumpet" and advertising that God is going to punish the "city" (so called His organization) because of its practicing idolatry ( obeying the GB and WTS more than His Son )

the iron doesn't want to hear that and goes ahead on their own way (manifesting their obstinacy)

the clay pay attention to what the Son is teaching through the Spirit of truth and is ready to obey (and repent)

there is no possibility to be unity between these two types of "worshipers" of God

at this time the kingdom is "coming" on earth .

Indeed, there is a similarity of their number "ten kings" and "ten toes"

but the Bible doesn't put accent on the number of toes , it put accent on the material they are done

NO, the toes aren't the ten kings / the kings are on opposite side of the King Jesus

while some of the toes are "clay" , that are the ones ready to obey

so yes, they are "weeds" and "wheat"

when the separation comes (the harvest ), the "great image" comes to its end
