Hi All,

BY now I think you may have figured out I have more questions then anything else.

I have had a side conversation and it was brought out that some people apparently think that the written scriptures are the end all of any christain faith.

This is the reference
"I belive the Bible to be the final authority on all matters of Christian life and doctrine."

I beleive the bible to be a guide for us. "teaching reproving and setting matters straight" type of thing. But I believe above the bible is LOVE period. if it is unloving I think that even if the bible seems to support it I think we should do the LOVING thing.

For example ISOman's daily text about the sheep on the sabath.
Jesus model was clear. God was trying to teach seemingly unteachable people "hard heart" is the way I take it. so he had to use some hard lines. I think those days are over as we have the laws within us.

What does anyone else think?

Trully, lost some times,

Hi TD.....I agree......we all must be showing love.....look at us....look at what a condition we are in so bad infact the Father showed us love by sending us his Son.....but we ourselves need to be caring for one another in our pitiful and dying condition....we need each other to help the other.....this is first and foremost.....as which one of us has perfect understandings of the dogmatic teachings....and as far as that way of thinking who of any of us has perfect understanding of the bibles teachings as far as prophecy....trinity....non trinity.....I don't...but we can and do understand what it means to help others the ones who need help among us....this was the thing the early Christains did they lived their lives helping their brothers and sisters and even the good samaritan showed love to one who looked down on him....bottom line....always use the principle of love

Easy to say and sometimes so hard to put into action....I feel like the all time worst sinner of all....but I thank Jesus each and every day for dying for me a miserable sinner...so who am I not to at the very least help ones who are without.

Take CAre
