Hello All my dear friends/brothers and sisters....I hope that all have been well...
Matthew 7:21 Not everyone that sayth unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heavan; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heavan. 22 Many will say to me in that day Lord, Lord, did  we not prophesy by they name,..
My question is when do we start saying Lord, Lord......did not Jesus disciples when he was here on earth talk to him...and some falling down and worshipping him.....there are so many scriptures which say these things....
They followed him....Mary even tenderly washing his feet with her hair...
I just feel so very troubled that we are not getting what it means to worship Jesus and give him praise....and please don't point out the scriptures we JW have been raised on to justify not worshipping Jesus...because for everyone of those there are ones to refute them, also Jesus never corrected anyone for falling down and worshipping him,....I have just come to the conclusion I would rather give Jesus too much than to be afraid and in fear of giving him any praise....it all goes to the Father anyways.
We know the gospel is Jesus and by means of him the kingdom....
I know there are many who are at different places or stages and I do not condemn any of my brothers and sisters for not seeing things the same way I do.
So my question is just when is it, when we will be saying Lord , Lord...He's going to be our ruling King...do subjects speak to their King and ask for things...
We live our life never uttering a word to Jesus.....:confused:
I'm confused...

Hi Sandi
Jesus answered that question in the very same sentence: "He that is doing the will of my Father in Heaven".
Jesus is our King, and we love him dearly, but he is not God.
At the end of the thousand years, who's Kingdom is it anyway?
Just some food for thought.

Hi jesh....do you think it's the will of the Father to not speak to Jesus...nor to praise him ...nor to worship his Son....when He instructed the angels to worship his son when he was born into the world....
the scripture is pointing out that many will be saying Lord...in other words talking to Jesus.....do we have to wait till a certain time to say Lord, Lord and talk to him:confused:
Its like we bypass Jesus....I'm wondering how ones consider that when Jesus says to come to him all you who are toiling......how do we come to him....
If ones are prophesying in Jesus name...who is the one thats giving them the prophecy....who was the one who revealed himself to Paul....who was the one who revealed himself to John on the Isle of Patmos.....who was the one conversing with John and Paul and the disciples when Jesus was resurrected.
In the transfiguration who were conversing with Jesus?
I'm beginning to see the real truth....Jesus said he would lead us into all truth....thankyou Jesus
 Hi Sandi!!

Sandra,
I love your love for Jesus.  You sparkle.
I do believe that someday all of us who call ourselves by his name will find ourselves standing before the Lord and having to make an account for our life and deeds and actions.  I tell you something, when that day comes I know what position I'll be in - immediately faceplant! Â
Isn't it interesting that those who saw Jesus, like the apostles, disciples, and Paul still prayed to "the Father" and not to Jesus?
Can I tell you a secret?
In the Hebrew scriptures, particularly Genesis, whenever the mysterious, "messenger of Jehovah" shows up people physically speak to the messenger but address him as Jehovah God. They even worship before him. Weird, huh?
Flash forward to the Christian-era and what does Jesus tell us? "No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:7) (Is that a "JW scripture"?  I hope the JW's don't have exclusive control of certain scriptures - if so I'm crying foul and taking them back.)
Is the picture getting clearer?
When we address our heavenly Father, or Jehovah, or Yahweh, or God, who are we actually speaking to?  ;)
Hello Anthony dear friend....hope you are well
I see Jo 5:22 as Jesus doing the judging and the giving life...and also the scripture which say all authority in heavan and on earth as being relevant...
I am being lead to one conclusion ....that we are to honor the son as the Father can be taken only one way.....
Can we give less to the Son?
If I am to err I will err on the side of too much to Jesus.....we as JW have been conditioned to be afraid to give too much to Jesus....Malkah said this so well when she told me that we can't give too much to Jesus....as it all goes to the Father.
Anthony I want to fall at Jesus throne right now and worship him....He gave his life for me.....
When I try to deny these feelings..it's so very exacerbating....I can't deny them anymore....I had the same experience when Jesus came into my heart and for many months I cried tears of joy and could not think of Jesus without crying tears of joy, nor talk about him.

Matthew 11:27...
" All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one fully knows the Son but the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father but the Son and anyone to whom the Son is willing to reveal him. Come to me, all YOU who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh YOU. Take my yoke upon YOU and learn from me, for I am mild-tempered and lowly in heart, and YOU will find refreshment for YOUR souls. For my yoke is kindly and my load is light.â€
Hello Gogh...how have you been dear friend....its been awhile for so many here as for you and for myself....
John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldest have asked him, and he would have given thee living water....14 but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water I shall give him, shall become in him a well of water springing up into eternal life..
Jesus is requesting the samaritan woman to ask Him/Jesus for the water that will become eternal life....
Hi Sandra,
I remember when my prayers changed.  I no longer address him by name, but in a much more personal manner, as my father.  Then came another interesting twist.  I felt compelled to call Christ my brother.  First I could not even say it, thinking... how presumptous!  But it became overwhelming.. and something the father had to help me understand.
He uses these relationships as examples.  Something that we can relate too.  For it is really so much more than that, we can't even concieve of it's beauty.
A scripture that I love is John 6:44
"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day."
My Father, Jehovah, has purposfully led me to his son.  He wants me to know and love him, so that I may ultimately love the Father even more.  Jesus is my bond between me and God.  I praise the Father by honoring the son.  No need to complicate such a beautiful arrangement. Â
He wants me to know his son too,... For those who know the son, knows the Father.
May the love of God fill your heart, through Christ, the despencer of the spirit.
Lynn
Yes dear friend and sister Lynn....Christ will lead us to the Father...
1 Cor 1 Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and sosthenes our brother 2 unto the church of God which is at Corinth even them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus called to be saints, with all that......call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, their Lord and ours
When do we start calling on the Lord Jesus?:heartbeat:
Christ will lead us into all truth......

Hello dear friends...what do you make of this scripture?
John 14:14 If ye shall ask anything in my name....THAT WILL I DO....
Hello to everyone!
It is indeed very interesting to read all your posts and it mostly show that you have a right heart.
There is for me a destinct difference between worshipping Jesus rather than Jehovah!
That doesn' mean that we can't love Jesus for all what he was willing to do, has suffered and done for us, but again there is a destinct difference and pls. try to think of what Gods opponent really liked to have?
Should we with other words worship others than Jehovah and what did Jesus said when he was tested, in Matthew 4:8-11!
4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Some spiritual foods for thoughts...
Christian love to all of you.

Ecclesiastes 1:18!

Jeremiah 8:8!
How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.
NB. It has to be mentioned that blood as medicine or any other medicine isn't good medicine, since there will always be side effects, opposite the healing Jesus and his disciples afforded, showing what to come, but in the meantime we have to deal with the life itself as sacred and be able to make personal decisions, to sustain the most important for Jehovah and each individual, the life itself in accordance to Galatians 6:5 and not being forced by threats and sanctions into a premature death, by man made doctrines, in opposition to what comes forth in 2 Corinthians 1:24 and 1 Peter 5:3! Dear Flowerchild
Thank you I'm doing fine, or lets say as fine I can without being perfect, but I’m' working at it and hope that you are doing fine yourself.
Sandi you "sounds" like and to be a very kind, loving and BIG hearted person with lot of feelings and indeed that is wonderful, Jesus also show that when Lazarus has died and when he talks about humans as sheep’s.
In reality there is a distinct difference between feelings and facts, which has to be balanced with each other, which I will try to express as to come:
There was a woman and a man, the woman complaints that she was freezing. After a while the spouse come forward with a very precise temperature measuring instrument and show his wife that there was exactly 20 degrees Celsius without any discussion and she admit that, but reply, I’m still freezing!
So what you feel for Christ Jesus can't be discussed, because it is your feelings and all have to respect them, but may I kindly recommend you to balance your feelings with Scriptural facts, maybe it will be possible for you to come to a balanced, maybe another result?
Let me try another situation, I have nothing against people in the Governing Body. If I let my acts and the result hereof solely be based at feelings, it will for sure make me come to a wrong conclusion and result.
By balancing facts from the Scriptures and what it really tell and show us of examples about the blood, together with what my heart tells me and Christian commandments, for all the dead and those left behind and that people still are going to die among them children, makes me comfortable in what I'm doing, rather to make the blood to an idol or let God fearing people be sacrificed at an organisations alter like those described in Jeremiah 7:31!
With other words what I feel is wrong is to fall on your knees in front of Christ Jesus hanging and kiss the cross, which I believe is nothing else than idolatry and giving our worship to Jesus rather than to his father as he stated himself against Gods opposer.
It is exactly the same when the Watchtower Society, to make them differ from other religious organisations state that it wasn't a cross but a stake, make pictures of Christ Jesus hanging on a stake, even that the Scriptures clearly state that there was nails in his hands in John 20:25!
If we really like to worship Jehovah in spirit and truth, we do not have anything else than the Scriptures as guidelines, everything else will be wrong and we are clearly warned if we intend to go beyond what is written, from our experience with the Watchtower Society.
There are only two commandments we as Christians has to try our outmost to follow. Love Jehovah. 2. Love our neighbour like ourselves.
When we then look at what Paul said in Romans 13:8 we have a confirmation that the whole law was included in love, that we should love our neighbour like ourselves. If we don't love ourselves, (not the ego) how can we then have capacity to understand and love others?:cheekkiss:
Christian love to all of you.
