I don't know if anybody has heard that the folks at the Discovery Channel who brought us the "Gospel of Judas"  last Easter season have  a new documentary purporting the discovery of Jesus' tomb along with his mother Mary, his wife Mary, and his son Jude as well as some of his brothers.   The show is called "The Jesus Tomb; the Discovery, the Investigation, and the Evidence that Could Change History" and will premiere March 4th and the accompanying book will be at book stores.   Like the Gospel of Judas program this documentary sets out to challenge the Bible narrative and this time attacks the key basis of Christian faith, the resurrection of Jesus Christ.   The documentary is produced by Titanic director James Cameron so it has serious Hollywood clout behind it.

Ben Witherington III responds to this documentary and "discovery" on his Blog, The Jesus Tomb?  'Titanic' Talpiot Tomb Theory Sunk From The Start.
Hi Anthony,

Thanks for bringing this up!

I just heard it at CNN. I don´t know what to do about it, bro. We may need to wait and see.

But one thing we know for sure; this way or that Jesus will be preached.

"Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?...Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling-block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles, but to those whom God has called both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God." 1 Cor. 1:20-24

Much brotherly love,
