Re: "This is why I say that waiting for the end as if its round the corner is for losers."
Losers?
Inappropriate comment, imo.

Seraphim,
I always say that waiting for the end as if its round the corner is for Christians:
Matthew 24
“But know one thing, that if the householder had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have kept awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 On this account YOU too prove yourselves ready, because at an hour that YOU do not think to be it, the Son of man is coming.

:D "I once knew a man, who spent his whole life waiting for the storm, that he forgot to enjoy the sunshine" :D
Re: "Why was that inappropriate?"
Personally, I object to name calling. Calling someone a loser for any reason possibly closes opportunity to try and reason with that person (or persons).
:coffeeread:
I'm not taking it personally.
This is the generally accepted definition of the word "loser" in our neck of the woods:
loser definition:
...an inept person; an undesirable or annoying person; a social failure. : Those guys are all losers. They'll never amount to anything.
...a person or thing that seems destined to be taken advantage of, fail, etc: a born loser
If you meant, Seraphim, simply that a loser (by your definition) is someone that loses .....I understand what you mean (now....grin)...and even agree...double grin.

A true Christian destined to be taken advantage of?
Hebrew 10
32 However, keep on remembering the former days in which, after YOU were enlightened, YOU endured a great contest under sufferings, 33 sometimes while YOU were being exposed as in a theater both to reproaches and tribulations, and sometimes while YOU became sharers with those who were having such an experience. 34 For YOU both expressed sympathy for those in prison and joyfully took the plundering of YOUR belongings, knowing YOU yourselves have a better and an abiding possession.
1 Corinthians 4:10
We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! 11To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. 12We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;
Luke 6:22
Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.
23 "Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets.
