Matthew 5:21-24 :heartbeat: :rose: :rose:

''You have heard it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder,'' and anyone who murders will be subject to judgement.' (21) :rose:

''But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgement. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!'' will be in danger of the fire of hell. (22) :rose:

''Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your
gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your borther, then come and offer your gift.'' (23-24) :rose:

These scriptures are under the heading of ''Murder'' and to me reads as a lesson in the more complete understanding of what constitutes murder--Jesus wanted his followers to understand that hatred is a form of murder and not to allow that to settle in one's heart. There should be no underestimating the importance of peace--and how that is a part of the foundation for love--which is the essence of our spirituality and relationships with God and Christ:heartbeat:
It is of the divine :heartbeat: just my opinion of course :heartbeat:

''Dear friends, we should love each other, because love comes
from God. Everyone who loves has become God's child and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love to us; He sent his one and only Son into the world so that we could have life through him. This is what real love is: It is not our love for God; it is GOd's love for us in sending his Son to be the way to take away our sins. Dear friends, if God loved us that much we should also love each other. No one has ever seen God, but if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is made perfect in us.'' 1 John 4: 7-12... :heartbeat:

I think this passage is life- altering. Once you understand and appreciate the love from God in sending Jesus how can one deny love for others. :heartbeat:

''And so we know the love that God has for us, and we trust that love.
God is love. Those who live in love live in God and God lives in them. We love because God first loved us.'' 1 John 4: 16, 19 :heartbeat:

''I pray that Christ will love in your hearts by faith and that your life will be strong in love and be built on love. And I pray that you and all God's holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ's love---how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is. Christ's love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with the fullness of God.'' Ephesians 3: 17-19 .... :rose:

It occurs to me  that being at peace --true Godly peace--lays the groundwork for Love--true Godly love :heartbeat: and that is a pretty special thing :heartbeat: :rose:

''So these three things continue forever: faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these is love.'' 1 Corinthians 13:13 :heartbeat::rose:

and finally :heartbeat:

''I leave you my peace; my peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world does. So don't let your hearts be troubled or afraid.'' John 14:27 :rose:

''Do not worry about anything, put pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. And God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.'' Philippians 4: 6-7 :rose: :rose:

Have a wonderful day today friends--love you all xxxxx
