:rose::rose::rose:

''Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him, :rose:
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes. Ps. 37: 7 :rose:

''Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret--it leads only to evil. (8) :rose:

''For evil men will be cut off,
but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.'' (9) :rose:

''A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found. (10) :rose:

''But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy great peace.'' (11) :rose:

''The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;''(12) :rose:

''But the LORD laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.''(13) :rose:

''The wicked draw the sword :rose:
and bend the bow
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose ways are upright.'' (14) :rose:

''But their swords will pierce their own hearts, :rose:
and their bows will be broken.'' (15)

''Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;'' (16) :rose:

''For the power of the wicked will be broken, :rose:
but the LORD upholds the righteous.'' (17)

''The days of the blameless are known to the LORD, :rose:
and their inheritance will endure forever.'' (18) :rose:

''In times of disaster they will not wither;
in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.'' (19) :rose:

''But the wicked will perish;
The LORD's enemies will be like the beauty of the :rose:
fields,
they will vanish--vanish like smoke.'' (20) ... :rose:

My thought on these scriptures is that the emphasis :rose:
is on the futility of this world and what it offers is but
temporary and fleeting---our true treasure and life of :rose:
meaning lies in heavenly things--with God and Christ .
That is also what endures as nothing else will--even if it looks pretty good from the outside But we know what is truly important ..... :rose:

''I have seen a wicked and ruthless man
flourishing like a green tree in its native soil, :rose:
but he soon passed away and was no more;
though I looked for him, he could not be found.'' Psalm 37:35-36

but then: :heartbeat: :rose: :rose:

''Consider the blameless, observe the upright; :rose:
there is a future for the man of peace.''

much love to you all friends :love:
hope you are enjoying a perfect summer week-end :heartbeat:
