Not to sideline the subject at hand, but if it says they can't be baptized in the name of any man, what does that make Jesus? (They are constantly backing themselves into a corner)

How come the "faithful and discreet slave" started out as one man (C.T. Russell), then became a group of anointed ones (144,000) and now it's dwindled down to the GB?

The FDS did not started with Russell.The expression “faithful and discreet slave” refers to all members of that anointed spiritual nation as a group on earth at any particular time from 33 C.E. until now.

The 1945 Yearbook includes the Charter in full. Part of the current charter states as follows:
