Today's reading is in part from The Ten Commandments: :heartbeat:
''Honor your father and your mother, so that you may
live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you. Exodus 20:12 :rose:
''You shall not murder. (13) :rose:
''You shall not commit adultery. (14) :rose:
''You shall not steal. (15) :rose:
''You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. (16) :rose:
''You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not
covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his
ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.'' (17) :rose:
It is easy to see that having a good character based in honesty always has been a part of the love of God and pleasing him. I also feel it is easy to understand how the law of love took over these very finely defined instructions and covered them by an understanding of love. :heartbeat: :rose:
''Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous,
it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, :rose:
is not selfish, and does not get upset with others.
Love does not count up wrongs that have been done.
Love is not happy with evil but is happy with the truth.
Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts,
always hopes, and always remains strong.'' 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

and we trust that love. God is love.
Those who live in love live in God,
