''I will instruct you and teach you in the way you :rose:
should go;
I will council you and watch over you.'' Psalm 32:8

Beautiful words from a loving Father: :heartbeat: :rose:

along with these words however come a warning to those who would ignore the instructions and teachings of God :heartbeat: :rose:

''Do not be like the horse or the mule, :rose:
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle
or they will not come to you.'' (9) :rose:

''Many are the woes of the wicked,
but the LORD's unfailing love
surrounds the man who trusts in him.'' (10) :rose:

''Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous;
sing, all you who are upright in heart!'' (11) :rose:

some further scriptural thoughts on obedience :heartbeat:

''Look, today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and
a curse! You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the LORD
your God that I am giving you today. But you will be cursed
if you reject the commands of the LORD your God and turn away from him.'' Deuteronomy 11: 26-28 :rose: :rose:

It works on every level--keep your heart soft to God and Christ :heartbeat: :rose: :rose:

''Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me--everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God
of peace will be with you.'' Philippians 4:9 :rose:

have a wonderful evening friends--love you all :grouphug: :heartbeat:

''I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will council you and watch over you.''

"Many are the woes of the wicked."

The older I get and the more time I have to observe, reflect, and contemplate, ... the more one clear message is reinforced to me.

Everything -- and I do mean everything -- one may do (or think or say) which is not in harmony with our Creator's recommendations is destructive to the self. In other words, anything that is outside of the Creator's suggestions is self-destructive. :thinking:

That being the case, why on earth would a sound-minded individual venture outside of the 'safe zone'? :dontknow:
