The way I see it, these Christians were asking for trouble. Not everyone appreciates the JW-style approach to evangelism - they knew the reaction they were going to get --- they were inside a muslim festival for goodness sake! What would happen if some Muslims dressed up in traditional Muslim-wear, went into a Christian festival trying to hand out Muslim literature -- they would get the same treatment! (and probably be beat up or shot, depending on what state they were in of course!).
Dearborn, Michigan, also happens to have one of the largest Muslim populations in the U.S. Did these truthseekers respect that? No. They didnt. They probably see this as signs of "the end" being near, and they are doing their youtube bit for the Christian world by showing how they are suffering from persecution - and then they can notch it up as some ego-trip of "suffering for Jesus".
What B.S!! End-timers man, I tell ya....:thumbsup:
But oh well...what do you do...some people need to force their message onto others who they know will abreact towards them, and all the while they start crying because their "freedoms" are being persecuted.
Give me a break! :thumbsup:
There are more drama queens in the Christian world, than there are during the Sydney Mardi Gras! :cheer::cheer::cheer:
For the sake of balance, I saw this a while ago, it was an article about Muslim women being arrested for leading a silent protest and wanting to pray with men in the main prayer hall in a mosque.
http://www.realcourage.org/2010/06/dc-po...en-prayer/
"Selected Washington DC media outlets have been reporting on the story of controversies over the Islamic Center in Washington DC, and women who seek to pray in the main hall, rather than in a segregated room. Muslim women have been protesting over their segregated prayer facilities since February 2010. Muslim women state that they have had to be segregated in a small room with a 7 foot high wall. WAMU radio quoted one Muslim woman as stating that the segregated prayer room made her feel “Boxed in, stifling, suffocating and totally a second class citizen.â€
And it was all started because of this woman - a newly converted muslim - who isnt an Arab, but is an American. And now she sees it as her duty to liberate her muslim sisters and to smash down the walls of oppression and tradition.

"Fatima Thompson led a protest against women having to pray in an area other than the main prayer hall in a Northwest D.C. mosque."
Personally, I think that there are times when walls need to be broken, and there are times, when people become a pain in the arse just for the sake of it.
If you dont like the fact that women are segregated in your religion -- THEN GO GET ANOTHER BLOODY RELIGION!!! Or go SOMEWHERE ELSE to another Mosque where they do allow women full access!!
Similarly.....:thumbsup:
If you dont like the fact that handing out religious literature to muslims in Dearborn Michigan will be met with the law -- THEN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! And stop using these people, who feel safe congregating with one another, as fodder for your medal of honour ego-trip "look, im suffering for Jesus - the end is coming" mantra!!!
Im bloody sick of it!!! :rant::rant::rant::rant:
Im bloody sick of it!!! :rant::rant::rant::rant:
There is such thing as FREE SPEECH in this country DP! If Muslims dont like it they can go back to their intolerant countries. They want to bring their intolerance here AND I AM BLOODY SICK OF IT.
Yes, but is there such a thing as COMMON SENSE in this country? Apparently not. :thumbsup:
I mean, if I go up to an elderly lady and tell her to f-off - its ok, because I have freedom of speech, right? :huh:
So all in all, everyone, including the Christians, can go back to where they came from, and stop disturbing the peace of other people in the name of "freedom" or "Allah" or "Jesus" or "God"....
People man....I tell ya! :friends::friends::friends:

actually--freedom of speech doesn't cover going up to an elderly lady and being profane to her., There are laws agains public profanity.
But things are so lop-sided now that people are getting not only angry but very resentful. Kids are being expelled from schools for wearing jewelry with a cross on it but kids from other religions are in full 'religious garb' and no issues with that. In Maine last year a young kid was expelled from school for leaving a ham sandwich on the cafeteria table where he had been eating because the school administration was afraid it would offend one of the Muslim students.
Right now it is looking like you have tolerance in this country for almost anything except being a Christian. It goes on and on--- :love:
Amen! Preach it sister!:cheer::thumbsup::greatjob: :hunter:
Do you realize bullies at school are tolerated when kids who meet for a prayer session are expelled??????? Has this world gone upside down or what? Do you realize that it has been outlawed all over the country to say "Merry Christmas" not only in public schools but also in stores when out shopping? Other religions tho are tolerated quite nicely--it is mindblowing to witness...
zero tolerance has alot to do with the lack of wisdom missing in decisions being made... :heartbeat:
Hows it going sis? :hug:
Well, things are different here in Australia - much different to how they are on the mainland in the US.
With the Christians who were outside the festival (thanks for the correction) I honestly dont feel sorry for them, and I think they deserved everything they got -- the thing is, they expected the treatment they got - they went there knowing and expecting the reaction they received - they had a video camera - and they also happened to be at or near a Muslim festival, which was in a city that has one of the largest muslim populations in the US. As far as I see it, it was a calculated operation done "in the name of the Lord". I have no sympathy for them, whatsoever.
I dont think this is all part of a slow move to ban Christianity -- there is something else here at work -- the US government, along with its allies and shady puppet masters have a War on Terrorism, and its main enemies are all from "Radical Islam". They have created the perfect enemy - an enemy that not only looks different to us, but has a different religious background, one that strikes at the core of Christianity.
They need to create fear, unease and anger in public sentiment, especially in Christians who will more than likely see this as part of the end-times. They need this, to continue on with the never-ending wars they want to wage - so long as muslims are seen in this light and are seen to get preferrential treatment (especially over stupid matters like a ham sandwich.....or banning Bacon at a KFC, as they did here in Sydney, Australia or banning the celebration of some Christian holidays here in some parts of Australia etc...) -- this is all part of a calculated effort to keep the wheels in motion.
Its a tricky business, in which its gonna look like a squeeze on Christianity (and other western values and points of heritage) -- and its all designed for one thing -- to keep people angry, confused, resentful, but mostly fearful -- for what? To keep the wheels of war in motion -- without all this mass emotion seething in the collective consciousness -- there wouldnt be any war.
imo, ;)
Cheers sis! :friends::friends::friends:
