Well I'm afraid I don`t agree with this NWO thing but I'm happy to be in the minority camp.

Maybe some of you missed the comments on that link I put up on page 1 of this thread... amongst all the kudos for being "brave Christian soldiers in the camp of the enemy", there was one commenter who made an excellent point - she said that it was the way those people went about their 'witnessing' that led to them being removed from the festival. Their cameras and questioning seemed to be creating a sensationalism. She pointed out that in years past, Christians have rented booths at the same festival and handed out literature without constraints - and they'd even converted some former Muslims to Christianity and held Bible studies with many!

Once again I think it's an issue not of what one's saying, but how they're saying it. Extremists on either side make their side look bad, imho. You can't make someone change their mind - in fact, force is a hindrance in such matters and is usually fueled by hatred of others' beliefs. But you can convince a person of the truth by reasoning with them out of love for Christ. Hate shows as well as love - it's hard to hide either of 'em!

ps - this is nothing to do with what you all are saying about the school systems and how the kids are being desensitized to the Christian beliefs of their ancestors, with which I agree - but then, it was prophesied in the Bible that this would come to be... as much as we hate to see it happen. :pray:

It is so hard to fiugure out which side of any story has truth in it.
We are feed truth with a side plate of lies so many times.

From the video footage posted it does not seem like they are trying to incite.

I almost couldn't find it again! There's some good points made back and forth - and even a former Witness left a comment! I think the truth is found in the balance somewhere, hard to find with the extremes swinging so far to and fro.

Are you that easily persuaded? Ive watched many films purporting something extraordinary but when the details are really checked in a non biased way, they often they don`t stack up. Take loose change for example! Not that many here will except that either. The UN and EU are ways to keep peace and hopefully prevent war. Wait and watch and I can guarantee you that national sovereignty will never be eroded to the point you think. Culture is far two strong a force for that to happen. You don`t have to believe me. Wait and watch and see who is right. Seventy years in one life isn't long, and most of us have got through half of that because we are lucky to be born in the West. Lets focus on something thats going to make a difference in the world for the better rather than trying to actually live in castles in the sky.

I watched it, very interesting.

One of the things I have noticed recently in the mainstream media is that Hollywood itself is starting to expose politics and politicians in a way which undermines them.

Recently watched the movie "The Green Zone" with Matt Damon. I casts enormous doubt on the politics and integrity of the United States.

Coming straight out of Hollywood my monkey mind starts to wonder if there is yet another even more insidious motive for doing this that goes beyond what the conspiracy theorists have exposed.

The sentiments coming out of the conspiracy theorists and now also from Hollywood seem to be engendering a violent revolution type response from the USA public.

Maybe that IS what they want!

It convinces me even more that the only way to eventually overcome any powers that be, whose motives may not be benevolent, is simply to do exactly what Jesus Christ said.
