Today's Bible scriptures are a lesson in opposites. It is the acts of the flesh as opposed to life by the Spirit..... :rose:
''So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the
desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires
what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you
do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.'' Galations 5: 16-18 :rose:
''The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy,
fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissentions, factions and envy;
drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. (19-21) :rose:
''But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.'' (22-26) :rose:
The scriptures say beautiful things about The Spirit :heartbeat:
''You should know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit who is in you. You have received the Holy Spirit from God. You do not belong to yourselves.'' 1 Cor. 6:19 :rose:
''And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us.'' Romans 5:5 :rose:

''I will ask the Father, and he will give you another :rose:
Helper to be with you forever--the Spirit of truth.
The world cannot accept him, because it does not see
him or know him. But you know him, because he lives with you
and he will be in you. I will not leave you all alone like orphans;
I will come back to you. In a little while the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live you will live too. On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and that you are in me and I am in you.'' John 14: 16-20 :heartbeat: :rose:
