If you do a google (news) on the oil spill there are no longer many media updates on BP's progress.
Most of what is on google news recently is just the politics surrounding the spill.
Like you said above,.... scary.
The worse case that I can think of is the actual well pipe being compromised to the point where the oil is now just coming out of the ground and not the pipe. This would erode the walls of the well and progressively make it worse.
In others words BP wouldn't have a hope in hell of fixing it.

Hi Rez, folks,
I really don't consider the sourses credible. Especially what Mr. Griffith says is a lot of rubbish. The oil spil is too bad and too big an issue to waste your time with such nonsense.

Yes, this could be the time of great distress.
If the things we see happening are indeed the trumpet blasts mentioned in the book of Revelation, then what is really happening is a judgment from God and "the wrath of the Lamb".
If this is the case then playing the blame game from here on to the end is kind of a redundant exercise.

Here is why I said the information is not to be thrusted, sis.
First of all, the report is based on the assumption that there is/was a conspiracy behind the explosion like 911. And it continued to say that the spil is designed to destroy America. That is nuts. Why would BP be interessted in the destruction of the US, its biggest market on earth where it earns tens of billions a year? That is just ridiculous. It is also ridiculous to say that the US government is being run by an oil company. Why would an oil company be interessted in governing a country and thereby carry all the beurocratic costs upon its shoulder? Oil companies are profit oriented firms whose business flourishs like any other. The last thing they are interessted in is to change the status quo.
Secondly, if Obama has any agenda, it is a leftist one. He leans more towards socialism than Fashism. He has already showed that through the health care reform. This man can not promote right wing politics. To depict him as a nazi agent is just as ridiculous as the assumption that BP is running the US. To say that some forces have set him up to promote their agenda is simply foolish. Obama talked smart and was appealing to people who were angry at George Bush. That is how he got to power.
I do believe that the US will eventually, out of necessity, be run by a totalitarian regime. Infact, all the necessary groundwork is already laid for that. The US is only a car bomb away from such a system. But those forces who are working to overtake power do not work with people like Obama. They work against leftist people and may even liquidate Obama and exploit the incident as a pretext for establishing a fashist system.
May be there are forces bent on establishing a New World Order. And most probably halliburton has built a huge FEMA kamp somewhere in Colorado. But there is no one out there printing a new currency with the number 666. That is rubbish.
I believe the oil spil is a tragic accident that was caused by negligence in safty requirements. And I'm afraid no one will be able to controll it. But I believe it is just an accident. I think to fabricate stories around such tragic incidents as those folks at the video are doing is outright sadistic.
Rez, as you know in the past this marvelous planet which our dear Father created has proven to be capable of repairing itself of the damages we greedy humans inflicted upon it. "Mother nature" cleanses itself much faster than we can even imagine. We can only pray and hope that this time the site of the spil just emplodes soon and covers the hole.
