I've been thinking lately that the story of creation may have been when man and woman 1st had the spirit of God, (holy spirit) breathed into them.. rather than the actual beginning of man. What do you think?
I have heard of others who think this and have wondered to myself that if this is so and there were men already here why did God have to form Adam from the ground--and Eve from Adam's rib... :thinking:
plus in verse 4 of chapter 2 of Genesis it says:
''This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created.'' would this account really have left so much out?

Not if GOD was specifically talking about the initial spiritual Heavens and Earth of old .. the ones who were formed or created for Him / His people or inherritance .
Taking someone from the ground is also a reference to the taking of an idividual from mankind in a symbolic way... and the rib is another symbolic way of explaining from within or kinship .

It is true, I don't have a problem with understanding it also in a literal way at all , but we all need to realize that the bible was specifically written for the spiritual minded man.
Also it does say Heavens ( plural ) .. not just one as in the earth so it stands to reason that there are several Heavens -Higher principalities or kingships that reign or govern over it's inhabitants.
I personally have no problem accepting the fact that there were other beings around before Adam who were looked at as being animals ,beasts, or creeping things etc... in Jehovah's eyes .
There was something special that Jehovah saw in Adam .. He favored and chose him overall other creations to represent Him and become His first spiritually born son.

I don't think anyone is disagreeing with you ;) ... I feel the reason for this record is to show the true pure lineage of His saving grace - His son Jesus that was to come .
It was a way to make sure that no other individual would be able to prove inherritance or kinship to GODs New spiritual kingdom to come except the one who had been sent by Jehovah.
All Old Testament stories speak of Him and are fulfilled by Him ( Jesus ) ... the record is to prove to mankind that He originated from the Spirit of Truth and that he was not just another ordinary Man but a most important Son of GOD.
Without this record we would never have known about mankinds first encounters with GOD, our spiritual beginning, our future hope or the possibility of everlasting life.

I appreciate your thoughts and agree with your conclusions.
Please read through the scriptural chronology and notice the confirmation of the events of history that valadate the possible date of 4030 as Adam's creation.
Let me know you conclusion of that possibility.

Well, I read through the scriptural chronology and to me it does make sense since all historical accounts can be confirmed but then again I have never had a problem with Adams time of being created.
I'm really not one who looks into historic dates or times that much ... my memory is getting bad these days and these types of research for me only hinder my thoughts and personal study ...
The only date that I do have a problem with is 2003 as being the end of satans rule ... personally I feel that it is the beginning of His end and Him being cast out of higher abodes ( governments ) and that this will be a slower process than one assumes and will continue on for another 30 years ;) ...

P.S. On a side note ... Personally I feel that around 2001 - 2003 was a time that many of us experienced the Holy Spirit working and teaching freely on overtime .. :D :whistle: ;)

Obviously, Satan is not as yet bound, however, there seems to be evidence of his system of rule, false religion, corrupt politics, and greedy commerce being exposed and losing the support of the national groups of this world.
