Some wisdom from Proverbs :heartbeat: :rose:

''A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.'' (Prov. 15:1) :rose:

''The tongue of the wise commends knowledge,
but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.'' (15:2) :rose:

''The eyes of the LORD are everywhere,
keeping watch on the wicked and the good.'' (3) :rose:

''The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life,
but a decietful tongue crushes the spirit.'' (4) :rose:

''A fool spurns his father's discipline, :rose:
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.'' (5) :rose:

''The house of the righteous contains great treasure,
but the income of the wicked brings them trouble.'' (6) :rose:

''Better a meal of vegetables where there is love :rose:
than a fattened calf with hatred.'' (17)

''A wise son brings joy to his father, :rose:
but a foolish man despises his mother.'' (20) :rose:

and today's featured verse :heartbeat: :rose:

''Plans fail for lack of counsel,
but with many advisors they succeed.'' (22) :rose:

''A man finds joy in giving an apt reply--
and how good is a timely word!'' (23) :rose:

and my favorite from this section :heartbeat: :rose:

''The path of life leads upward for the wise
to keep him from going down to the grave.'' (24) :rose:

My peanut of a thought on this verse is that it
is wisdom to focus on heavenly things (Leads upward) :rose:
and that it is good for us and our life.... :heartbeat: :rose:

I really love reading the Proverbs. To me they always offer
something that stays with me for a long long time.... :rose:

Have a wonderful day today friends--live, love, laugh and be happy :heartbeat:
