Dear friends...

From two very reliable sources comes information that is deeply concerning and disturbing...

The first is from the USDA:
This is the Official inventory of the USA's emergency food Larder
http://www.fsa.usda.gov/Internet/FSA_File/wid2a.pdf
The Numbers in the Right Column tell the Whole story.
(Note; the dry milk is essentially Gone as well. See footnote 3 at bottom of inventory)
see also: (http://www.fsa.usda.gov/FSA/webapp?area=...&topic=rpt)

There is not so much as ONE single itty-bitty Grain of ANYTHING....

The second is the Wall Street Journal:
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB20001424...01230.html
This is a truly emergent situation... if weather conditions are right, it will happen within weeks....
It could well eclipse any Grasshopper Plague this country has seen.....

Couple this with the loss of Seafood from the Gulf, (and possibly the East Coast) due to the Oil Spill....

I don't think this requires an explanation.
As they say, "A word to the Wise"....

(found at http://www.musingsaboutgod.com/NewsUpdates.htm)

Please prepare, she don't look good....
Your friends and families should have this brought to their attention as well..... soon... very soon....

Once this starts, you cannot prepare further....
A Grasshopper Plague can go from nothing to epic proportions WITHIN DAYS....
Yes, your faith may sustain YOU, but little children do not understand famine.... Please give that some thought, please...

(Proverbs 22:3)  Shrewd is the one that has seen the calamity and proceeds to conceal himself, but the inexperienced have passed along and must suffer the penalty. . .
Thank you Roberts for the update.
As Jesus put it , the majority will be like in Noah's day ,not taking note until its too late.
But you know there's not much one can do here except ,keep close to the one that really is the" bread of life." ( Jesus ) He's our sure hope

Yes dear brother stay awake as you are ,and welcome to the family.
Not all are in agreement with everything , but we do all agree that Jesus paid the price ,and became the ransom for our salvation. It is he that bought back what Adam lost, To live here on earth in peaceful conditions, no more wars, sickness death, tears, the way our Creator intended it to be,
There is no other road then following Jesus that will lead to life, ,and few are the ones finding it.

Its amazing to sit back and watch this system going down, and the struggle man is having to keep it afloat, but we have a hope that the rest of the world doesn't have, seeing and knowing our deliverance is getting near.
We also know as the time draws near, those with out faith have become faint out of fear.

Roberts,

The USA grows enough grain that no North American should ever have to go hungry.

Thing is they sell the grain to the highest bidder.

The highest bidders are all offshore.

Its all about money.

North Americans can no longer afford to buy their own grain.

So the government sold out.

Instead of food they traded it for paper money which, everybody is beginning to realize is not worth very much.

You can print money, but you cannot print food.

When the average American citizen starts to go hungry and they begin to realize what their government has done, I dont expect the end result to be very pretty.

In Christ

My Lord said:

"If then God so clothes the grass (which today is in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven) how much more will He clothe you, O little-faiths? And do not seek what you shall eat, nor what you shall drink, and stop being in anxiety.
For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you have need of these things.
But rather seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you."

Do not be afraid.

Have faith. We have been promised we will be taken care of in these matters! Faith in Christ will be more beneficial in a time of trial than a fully stocked and loaded bomb shelter!

A couple verses along this line:

...to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. - 1 Thessalonians 1:10

For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Thessalonians 5:9

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. - Matthew 10:28

Ah, sis! Think of all the free food! Since the 'hoppers are eatin' all them greens, you can get your meat and veggies at the same time!

Mark 1:6 John was clothed with camel's hair and wore a leather belt around his waist, and his diet was locusts and wild honey.

Maybe honey makes those bugs more palatable? ugghhh, eeewwwww!

I'm talking over my head here, 'cause I don't really know how those commodities are bought and sold, or traded on the stock market... but I can tell you one thing - here in the corn belt, when the grain prices dip low, farmers store dried grain - corn, soy beans, wheat, oats, barley - on their farms in huge silos - or they pay to have them stored by bigger facilities. Then when demand raises the prices, they sell. So I imagine there are times when there are no surpluses, and that in turn creates the demand that raises the prices that makes the farmers sell what they've stored.(sounds like 'the house that Jack built!)

So there may not be surpluses on hand at this point - but that doesn't mean there aren't any grains available to be bought and sold. Anyway - :2cents:, for what it's worth.

That 'oil spill' is much more alarming to me, though. From what I've heard on the news - it's not just a 'spill' like a tanker leak, which, though devastating to the environment and ocean life, can be cleaned up in due time. No, this is a continuous pumping of millions of gallons of crude oil into the ocean from an uncapped well - and they don't even know how to cap it. It's happening a mile deep in the Gulf - and the geniuses that drilled it don't know how to stop it? They'd better be figuring something out, is all I can think. What a horrendous situation. The government has already stopped shrimping and fishing along the southern US coast, since there are no barriers to keep the coastal fisheries from being contaminated. That's those people's entire means of living - the lives of whole communities depends on those fisheries... and that's before the effects trickle down to the rest of us. Very very sad - much more than that, I lack words... but abominable comes close. :crybaby: We are yet to see what else and who else it will wreck and how far, how fast it will spread - unbelievable... :help::cry:
Ugh! That Well! Excuse my stupidity, but how in tarnation do you drill a well that you can't cap????

And then we have that lovely Gulf Stream...that can spread that oil a-l-l-l the way out to Europe.

Revelation 8:8 (NIV)
The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

Of course, the first trumpet hasn't yet sounded, as far as I know....but still this is something to think about.
Hi Mel! Not to worry, Europe's safe from this leak. It's not in the Gulf Stream, but in the Gulf of Mexico. But as a resident of Florida, I'm appalled, and scared!

I also have a brother in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and he's tracking this oil catastrophe too.

Quote from Willa:

Willa, Hello....
Your point is well taken, and inadvertently hits the crux of what may be coming.
About 2 years ago, someone (circumstantial evidence strongly points to Russia/Putin) used the commodity market in a very non-standard manner; i.e, they used it as a storing agent and took physical possession of the commodity ! (wheat) 1.1 Billion Bushels to be exact . That's enough Wheat for every cracker, loaf of bread and cookie for every American for TWO YEARS....
(See: http://www.kitco.com/ind/nadler/jun092008B.html fifth and sixth paragraphs from the bottom.)
Shortly after that article was published on Kitco's website I had personal contact with someone in the grain elevator business.
He told me;
'Let me tell you the rest of the story. The same party that bought the Wheat also bought some container ships to take it out of the country!'
Much later, here on Paradise Cafe's website I found a post by "Artcritic" with a YouTube link that confirmed this.
(See; Prophecy and End Times, Thread; http://www.paradisecafediscussions.net/s...p?tid=5994)

It is noteworthy that it appears that they took physical possession after the USDA confirmed the High likelihood of a grasshopper plague. (note date of YouTube clip, and I'm not endorsing this YouTube source)

So, yes, normally there is stored grain available from sources other than the USDA's CCC inventories.... normally....

To recap:
1. Totally empty USDA inventory
(That's Everything, NOT just Wheat, see link to USDA's website in the very first post here)

2. An additional NON-USDA 1.1 Billion Bushels of Wheat GONE
3. Very high likelihood of Grasshopper Plague
4. And Don't forget Seafood;
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/07/us/07food.html?hpw
(I added the fourth one just for the halibut.)

Each one has to decide what to do with this information. But ask yourselves this:
"If you knew this information, as well documented as it is, could you NOT tell others ?"
