Today's verses read to me as a lesson in life-- and love :rose:
and an example of how important it is to have love in
our life and nurture the relationships of those we treasure :heartbeat:

''Again I saw something meaningless under the sun: :rose:

""There was a man all alone;
he had neither son nor brother. :rose:
There was no end to his toil.
yet his eyes were not content with his wealth. :rose:
''For whom am I toiling, ;; he asked ,
and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment? :rose:
This too is meaningless--
a miserable business!'' :rose:

It is not good--or rewarding for one to be alone with no one to enjoy their life and the things of their life with--even wealth becomes meaningless without someone to share it with.

Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work; :rose:
If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up! :rose:

Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. :rose:
But how can one keep warm alone?
'Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.''
Eccl. 4:7-12 :heartbeat: :rose:

With God everything is better--and the relationship is stronger--
any relationship we bring God and Christ into --our relationships with
each other also quallify I believe. We listen to each other and tend to the cares and concerns 0f each other all with the goal of bringing
peace and consolation --in that way we too are a threefold cord and again--it is all about love :rose: :heartbeat: ..just my thought on this passage--:heartbeat:
and I would enjoy yours too :heartbeat:

have a wonderful day friends  :rose:
