I finally recieved some correspondance, from my m-in-law.
Hope you dont mind me shareing it.
"was preparing for our meeting tonight and since we have the new song book I play the recordings I downloaded from the wt site and practice the songs before I go,anyway tonight we sing the last song in the book 135 the tune is the same but the words are different,,,so comforting,,thought you would enjoy it try it out,,,so glad that Jehovah gives us just what we need at the proper time,,,the words to the new songs are so helpful right now,,,Jesus and Jehovah are really in charge of the congregation and giving us what we need,,,wow what comfort,,,I know this is a really tought week for you and my heart goes out to you ..I pray continulaly for you,,,hope you can get things worked out to get to the meetings, thats the interior rooms,thats where we and our family have to take refuge, cant let satan keep slappin us down,,we have to resists his crafty acts, they are really intensifying on everyone . we are fightin for our lives all of us.. Like the co said the
end is here, everyone I have talked to says their co has said the same thing,or we are in the final seconds...it will be so nice to see our dead loved ones,,cant wait to see dad ,he will be full of questions... I just hope the wayward ones in the family come to their senses soon so they can be there too. well gotta get dressed ,you are in my prayers...and others are prayin for you too. "
I know she cares, but her mind...her thinking and actions....are totally consumed and controlled by the Society. Her world view is just differant than mine and she sincerly sees no hope for me or my kids unless we return to "Jehovahs Organization". Just as she feels so concerned for me, I feel the same for her and all my other family who put unwaivering trust in the WT and the Governing Body. But I will never reject or abandon my family, sadly though the day will come when they will abandon me.
Witnesses say that the WT does not divide families, that those who choose to leave are the ones who divide. Yet I respect their right to believe as they wish while still endevouring to show them the same love which they should be shown as members of my family. They are the ones who will shun, yet somehow I am dividing? :huh: Even now, they are already pulling back in their support, except the occasional plea to return to the Org. (along with guilt trips and scare tactics, of course)
I guess I should just be thankful that they will not drag me outside the city and stone me! :D

BTW, I had forgotten about how the WT refers to the kingdom hall as "the interior rooms" were we must "take refuge". I am going to research this in scripture, I'm sure it will be another one of those..."I cant believe I used to buy this"...moments.

hi, jayme. :hibye: the fact that you are able to maintain such a fine attitude toward those who are not presently showing an appropriate love toward you is so commendable; so inspiring and encouraging to others. may you continue to be blessed with the godly wisdom to maintain your course. I have always thought of "interior rooms" as a place where a searching individual might retreat for pondering and meditation, prayer and sorting things out. prayer, pondering, and meditation certainly can provide us with a "refuge" during stressful times, which is exactly what the scriptures describe them as being. be blessed and keep up the good work. :friends:
