The scriptures flow with the promise of blessings from
God. For me they read as a promise that God will always :rose:
be there for us and involved in our life and welfare. He
loves us as a Father--for indeed he is :heartbeat: :rose:
Matthew 6: 25-34...He provides :heartbeat: :rose:
''Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life,
what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.
Is not life more important than food, and the body more
important than clothes?'' :rose:
''Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?'' :heartbeat: Faith--it takes real faith to turn the worry of this world over to God--and let it be. :rose: :rose:
He protects us from harm... :rose:
''You hem me in---behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.'' Psalm 139:5 :rose:
He is our Father :heartbeat: :rose:
''In love he predestined us to be adopted as his
sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with :rose:
his pleasure and will.'' ---Ephesians 1:5 :rose:
and finally our greatest blessing of all... :rose:
''Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Christ, God has given us every spiritual blessing
in the heavenly world. That is, in Christ, he chose us
before the world was made so that we would be
his holy people---people without blame before him.''
