I personally think the very last thing that scientists or mainstream media wants people to believe is that Jesus Christ is really going to come.
Think of what might happen if the entire worlds society and its governments were actually led to believe that.

I think Satan has done such a thorough job at confusing us that most people can’t even really believe what they see anymore.
I think that a good portion of the population will change their opinion on things they see with their own eye’s if enough is said via media / or other means to the contrary.
IT MIGHT as well be rain that no one has ever seen before.
Alot of people I talk with have no idea of why they believe Jesus died. they just hope for a better life in heaven.
the idea that he was a randsom for us needs to be shown by scripture for them to even believe it. and they still do not.
I actually tell people I wonder if we are getting the hint with all the weather/ quakes/ global upheaval. and they are like what hint?

In the Winter of 2006 I wrote a song called Return. The piece was quickly put together after I personally experienced a small earthquake in Kelowna, BC Canada. It also proved to be a personal turning back to Yahweh's call.
I believe that 2010 is going to see a ramping up Satan's attack on this earth an more importantly the attacks on the Great Flock and it's future King. Earthquakes over 5.0 have become almost a hourly occurrence with no let up in sight. I truly think we should be prepared for a shocker when the "big one(s)" hits.
Besides the foolish games of the invisible rulers of this earth, you can almost see the prophecies fulfillment happening in real-time. Jehovah's Witnesses have preached almost a century about these last days, but do they not know that they are about to be tested to the fullest degree? How is it possible that even the chosen elect will fall into the lies we might ask? Who is the Antichrist that will mislead? All eyes will be on Israel I fear. Draw close to the Mos High like never before. Put away the teachings of mortal man and listen closely to your heart. The Almighty is readying his hand to wipe out the wickedness....

This statement is utter stupidity. I seriously doubt that we have had anything comparable to today's monitoring equipment for the whole of the past 100 years. We have no way to compare today's earthquake frequency or earthquake severity with what the earth had a hundred years ago for the simple fact that a hundred years ago we didn't have the same monitoring technology that we have today. We don't have an accurate record from a hundred years ago so we have nothing to compare today's record to.

I think that if more and more people come to realize that we are having more and more earthquakes people will change- but most people will find some way to blame the situation on (legitimate) Christians and then go running to Satan thinking he can stop the earthquakes. When a sinner finds himself between a rock and a hard place he can get very spiritual, but usually not very Godly.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the 7.1-magnitude quake hit southwest of the island chain's Kira Kira island in the South Pacific. The temblor's epicenter was about 130 miles (210 kilometers) southeast of the capital, Honiara.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says a destructive wave is not expected. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
