Hi Binyamin. I'm so glad she has a husband like you. We love Malkah so much. My mother has an eating disorder as well. With my mum she never excepted that she was attractive or worth anything. Its strange because she looked like a model when she was younger, ironic as that sounds. As far as I can tell Malkahs inner beauty is seen by us and God. We love her! God does even more so.
Thank-you for explaining those couple of things to us LOL. Our prayers are with her and you as well.

Malkah, I was thinking of you recently and I was reminded of this song:
Only His Wounds - Michael Card
The Author of Life,
The King of all Kings
Was wounded, and beaten, and hung on a hill
The Truth of the world
The sacrifice made
Has risen, was given the power to save
Only His wounds can heal the broken
Only His wounds can save us from sin
Only His wounds give faith to the faithless
Only His wounds can restore us
The day of the Lord
The promise foretold
The judgment upon us is soon to unfold
But still there is hope
The way has been made
Before us is Jesus, with power to save
Only His wounds can heal the broken
Only His wounds can save us from sin
Only His wounds give faith to the faithless
Only His wounds can restore us again

I almost forgot ... but not quite ...
Before I toddle off to bed I too wanted to say hello to you Br. Binyamin! :hibye:
Sorry it had to take a caffufell to have to come to our 'tables' ...:eat: but you are warmly invited to partake and share anytime you wish!
Poor Malkah ... sorry she is going through a hard time ... but thankful that you are there are her support and friend and hubby ...
Just as 'good wifes' are hard to find ... so to are hubbies ... ;)
Could you PLEASE give Malkah a sisterly loving hug  and kiss :cheekkiss: for me if you would be so kind? :giverose:
You know tell her I find the 'hard' things we go through ... kind of like that 'testing of fire' ... in the end ... once we abide the 'heat' ... only makes us STRONGER as Christians as I am sure you both know already ... it just takes a reminder and dear friends:grouphug::heartbeat: every now and then to help us through the 'licks' doesn't it?! :friends:
Hope to see you BOTH as soon as you are able ...
May your home and family be one of peace, joy, comfort, love, rest, and restoration!
Your fellow sister in Christ ... BR :sheepy: :bouncyhearts:

Just saw this, as I obviously wasn't around when it was written, so didn't actually know Malkah had left. Just started reading some statements regarding her leaving the board, which I couldn't understand. I do hope she reconsiders, as we respect her words of faith and knowledge, and have done so for many years now. I hope you come back soon, Malkah!:hibye: In the meantime, hello to you Binyamin!:hibye: Hope to get to know you more, and you sure do sound like a wonderful husband, with a wonderful wife, and I'm sure, wonderful kids too!!!:cheer::cheer::cheer:
Christian love to you all, and come back soon Malkah!:ok:
Grateful :giverose:

Oh, that sister Malkah, she was a wrong ‘un. I bet little children and dogs would have sensed her wickedness and given her a wide berth. Let’s face it, she admitted her sin openly. There’s very little we can do now except help her beat herself 50 times with a wet noodle!
We must be reluctant to give credit its due, it’s not the Christian way. We showed her what we’re worth here and on Shelter, unfortunately both at the same time, and it was like what the English call a ‘double-whammy’.
But that old guy Jeremiah would get fed up to the back teeth with his mission in life, the people he had to deal with, and the obligations imposed on him, and say ‘I’ve had enough’. But before long, the natural impulse would prompt him back to the job on hand, to face the seeming lack of appreciation for the message etc and he would start again.
But that Malkah, she’s a wrong ‘un.
My deepest regards to you, sister Malkah, and my wish that you can forgive me and whoever else all got together to drive you bonkers, and that you come back when you can, especially if you have a strong love or a strong need for the discussions and people on these forums.
