I was just reflecting on the Memorial
I wonder if the memorial Day of Jesus resurrection, a Sunday is a significant enough point in our endtime cycle for the grand return of Jesus Christ the King, Is it a Grand enough day. Every year we might think what if this is the grand day.
Nobody knows... the Lord himself said that he would return unexpectedly on a day no one is looking to. So if we think we have the day figured out, we're probably wrong!
Also, the Jews have always venerated what we call 'Saturday' as the Sabbath. Our 'Sunday' is not named after the Son... but after the Roman sun god.
We need to be ready every day, because who knows - we might get run over by a truck as we cross the street and that would be our 'last chance' at readiness!
Today's the day, brother!:friends:
:peace:

Christiancrown,
I often wonder the same things.
Jesus Christ (the lamb of God) died on the anniversary of passover.
He has promised to return on a future day when a great judgement will occur.
A day where we also hope to be passed over.
I find myself thinging the same things.
What if this is the grand day?
In Christ

Hello Brother Abe, Yes explore this thought, Christ rose from the dead after being in the tomb for three days and three nights.
Resurrection.
Jesus was resurrected on the day of the wave offering.
Matthew 28:1 After the sabbath, when it was growing light on the first day of the week, Mary Mag´da•lene and the other Mary came to view the grave.
Mark 16:1 So when the sabbath had passed, Mary Mag´da•lene, and Mary the mother of James, and Sa•lo´me bought spices in order to come and grease him.
Luke and John agree with the statements made by Matthew and Mark in reference to the time of Christ's resurrection.
Luke 24:1 And on the first of the sabbaths, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, bearing the spices they made ready, and certain others with them, (Young's Literal)
John 20:1 On the first day of the week Mary Mag´da•lene came to the memorial tomb early, while there was still darkness, and she beheld the stone already taken away from the memorial tomb.
These four Apostles of the new testament agree that the resurrection occurred on the morning of the first of Sabbaths.
What is the meaning of the first of Sabbaths?
It refers to the wave sheaf offering. It was a yearly offering made to Jehovah from the first grains of harvest.
This holiday falls every year on the first Sunday after Passover.
So Jesus was resurrected on the day of the wave offering.
Not only is Jesus the wave sheaf offering who presented Himself as an offering to the Father on the day of His resurrection,
He is also our Passover lamb sacrificed for us on Nisan 14, a full moon, the day the lambs were being sacrificed for the Passover feast of Nisan 15.
Now wasn’t that a perfect majestic universally aligned Grand Day.
We can remember it every year when Jesus is brought to our attention at the memorial on Nisan 14

Deuteronomy 16:10 10 Then you must celebrate the festival of weeks to Jehovah your God, according to the voluntary offering of your hand that you will give, just as Jehovah your God may bless you.
