Hello all my very dear friends...I hope all are well and enduring
It's a mystery to me this scripture....
Matthew 11:28-30.....Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me: for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls 30. For my yoke is easy , and my burden is light.
There is also a scripture I have looked for it...but right now can't find it....but it's Jesus talking....he says.....ask me anything in my name and I will give it to you.....
its a mystery to me as an EX JW just how are we to come to Jesus.....and just how are we to throw our burdens on him....and this is going into the other scripture which Jesus is telling us to ask him anything and HE WILL GIVE IT TO US.....
Now Jesus is inviting us to throw our burdens on him....how do we do that without talking to him....or praying to him?
I know that this topic has been chewed on too many times than I care to remember.
But with the thought in mind that everything we give to Jesus goes to the Father anyways....as the scripture which says....all to the glory of the Father..
I'm just curious to know how we can come to Jesus...and how we can throw our burdens on him.....
Here in the OT in Psalms 55:22 Cast your burden upon Jehovah and he will sustain you....
So we know how to cast our burden on Jehovah....but how do we cast our burdens on Jesus?
Take Care
