WOW!! Yes, I prefer what you have written here -- that gives much more of an empathetic view - I mean, today we too have times when we feel useless and pathetic, and can possibly even doubt our Lords desire to love us -- so how much more so would it be for people who fall outside of the parameters of "worthy" to know that there is someone Greater, out there, but because of their "stuff" and their "story" they remain in captivity to their flesh, and by extension, the "kosmos"?

I definitely do not see it as being a chance happening that the man next to Jesus who perhaps didnt feel worthy of Jesus, ended up right next to Jesus. Amazing! His heart and his potential for righteousness must have been something that truly and deeply impressed our Father!

Quite honestly SW, your reply reminds me of the accusations that were constantly thrown at Jesus. "you have a demon."

You must live in alot of fear, for that I find very sorrowful. The works of the spirit are love, Joy, peace, mercy, kindness... for which one of these do you cast a stone SW?

No observant, it is a very scary thing to not test the spirits. It is the height of deception to trust and believe whatever spirit moves or speaks to you. You have to checking and test the source. That's SW's point. If Anthony didn't check the source, then I worry for him. If he did, by what means, or by what measure, did he check and test it?

I have been thinking of this scripture in a bit of a different way lately ... a more broader way ... not just the physical ruining and destroying of our planet ... but a 'deeper' kind of way ...

Has not the 'earth' also been symbolic of PEOPLE as well ...?

And are these videos not an example of this ... seeing lifes and families destroyed and ruined in ways beyond imagining ...

And cannot we be grateful that our Father will soon remedy these astrocities done in his name and in his Son's name!!

I also took note of 'who' these pastors were ... having close connections to 'high government officials' ...

Well, for the poor, impoverished, and ignorant (educationally speaking) what better way to help 'control' and ultimately 'irradicate' people without 'slaughtering' them in the 'normal' way ... (mass genocide) ...

When killing them 'medically' (aids and such) hasn't worked out quite as quickly as they may want ... let's throw a little 'religion' into the mix to speed things up ... :rant:

Mavos because I stated that I learned love, forgiveness, and mercy from the Holy Spirit it was intimated by SW that I was a "very scary dude" that was following an unclean spirit that would drive me to harm children, such as by sticking nails into their heads. By all means test the spirits.

What quality has been displayed that even justifies such a comparrison to such a horrid video?

The encouragement to trust In christ? To love your neighbor, to forgive, or have mercy?

You are speaking in fear, and trying to make it grow in others who are reading the thread. All such things that are being encourange are in complete opposite to actions in the video, where Judgement is drawn by falsehood and missapplication of scripture. I actually propose that most of the crimes done in the name of my Lord are justified by men using scriptures!! Not by the holy spirit.

Consider this my friends. Would you rather follow a book which can be turned into lies, or the spirit which always speaks the truth.

The Bible testifies to Jesus, and yet you are afraid of him. Hear the witnesses it gives and when he speaks to you Listen.

OK so we "test the spirits" using the Bible.

There may have been a time that any one of us here may have watched our own children die for refusing a blood transfusion at the behest of "God's Channel of Communication". We would have do so after full consultation with the Bible and firmly believed that our actions were in completely in accord with its sacred instructions. In fact we would have believed that this was exactly what Jehovah wanted us to do and that he was well pleased with us for this action. (Indeed all manner of injustice and evil and deceit and murder and torture has been conducted by individuals who believed the Bible and even used it to support their actions.)

Yet if we know God through Jesus we know that he is a God of LOVE. From our relationship with him we would know that there is no law against love. We could have tested the spirit of "God's Channel of Communication" and found that it did not originate with God. Any spirit that moves you to harm another or yourself cannot originate with God.

And Jeremiah equally noted those that had corrupted and falsified the Scriptures that you have placed your trust in.

"How can you say, ‘We are wise, And the law of the LORD is with us’? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood." - Jeremiah 8:8

I have noticed in reading over various posts of yours how you feel you have 'grown beyond the scriptures' ... due to the influence of the 'holy spirit' in your life ... speaking to you and as you have said in the past 'empowering' you to be able to do 'miraculous things' ...

My brother, speaking as a sister who loves you and is concerned for you, I truly don't understand why you have been seeming to 'minimize' the Bible, :read:something I know you believe in to be 'truth' ...? :innocent: :dontknow:

Would not knowing the BIBLE what it says about HOW Jesus and his followers healed have HELPED these INNOCENTS (both young and old) to distinguish what would be from GOD as opposed to DEVILISH ...?

And is it not good to REMIND ourselves of how God and his feel by rereading those passages that give strength to us as well as the strength we receive by holy spirit directly ...

If the written word was not important at all ... then why would our Father write by his own hand the commandments given to Moses ...?

Why was the kings commanded to ... READ ... each and every day the law ...?

Is it by a rout inspection of scripture, or, a introspection of the overall nature of the spirit by prayer, meditation, intuition? :thinking:

GOD'S spirit indeed only speaks truth ...

But isn't it in the TESTING that we can decipher if it IS indeed from God or another source ...

If these people had had an opportunity to REALLY KNOW JESUS and how such things would NEVER come up into his and his father's heart ... then wouldn't this have PROTECTED them from being bamboozled by these wicked men?

Wouldn't God written words of love and how we are to treat people at least have given them a CHANCE at understanding what our Father and his Son is all about ...?

Wouldn't these 'words' have helped them to 'test out the spirits' that were driving these charletons and save their children from their cluthes ...?

And it isn't just these examples ... for there are many others types of 'healings' and 'exorcisms' that do not come from above ...

And it is because the devil is the RULER of this world that we indeed need to know WHERE ... ANY KIND OF MIRACULOUS things are done that we are not being misled by this ANGEL OF LIGHT and the so-called miracles that he too can bring about ...

All any of us here are saying I guess is to be 'cautious as serpents and innocent as doves' ...
