For what is worth (not much in my opinion) in the NWT reference it is tree singular. I looked at Rev and from my perspective the tree is inside the city.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth -
Jesus is the tree of life the true vine and from him flows the river of life. But in order to live forever we must eat and drink from him. He is the true food and the true drink.
In the past we were mislead and told we must go to men to be fed but there is but one source to eat and drink from. How can I be sure what they are feeding me? Have we not read that a little leaven ferments the whole lump. I'll stick with Jesus all the same! I know his food and drink is pure.
