Sandi,
Honestly,, Do we always need the strength to take things on??
Problems are only as hard as we make them .. or allow them to be. we all have problems and it depends on our aproach to the solution that makes them harder or easier.
I have learned the straight forward  ways for myself works best.  For u it might be diff. I learned that when I was yngr I procrastinated where problems are concerned yet they never went away. So i learned and am still learning how to fae them head on.
trust trust that You will succed, that you will help your grandchildren.
just do what you can and let your yoke fall on the christ..  Don't take on more then you can handle,, little bites.. If you can only help by being their to take the phone calls when they have trouble then that is what you could do.. if you can do more do it. if not do what you can. Â
Do they have the basics,  food clothing and shelter?? if they do.. then just be the loving mother that you are. and when they scrap their knee let em cry it out.. and try to help direct them not to scrap their knee again.
If they are in physical need let us know. it is simple. yet hard to do.
throw your burdens onto the Lord.
explore other areas of help..  you don't have to do it by yourself.
Much love to you sis.:heartbeat:
And this prayer always helps..

We had a saying in AA, one day at a time. It really works, I know, I have been clean and sober for over 21 years now. I also use that same logic with other problems. I think that having a background in AA helped me to cope with leaving the JW's and being able to break the chains that were holding me back from finding the "real" truth about God, Jesus, and life. It still is hard sometimes, but it helps to talk about things with others who can help, and it helps to know that God will not give us more than we can handle. No we may think he has, but that doesn't me he really has.
We learn from life, from our mistakes, and our accomplishments. We learn from each other and we can keep on learning, keep on finding new things that can help us to make it through the everyday trials and problems that occur each and every day.
Take care.
Andy
