There are only three occurrences of the word "mystery" in the Bible. The first occurrence is at 2 Thessalonians 2:
6 And so now YOU know the thing that acts as a restraint, with a view to his being revealed in his own due time. 7 True, the mystery of this lawlessness is already at work; but only till he who is right now acting as a restraint gets to be out of the way. 8 Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence.
The other two are in Revelation 17:
5 And upon her forehead was written a name, a mystery: "Babylon the Great, the mother of the harlots and of the disgusting things of the earth." 6 And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the holy ones and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus.
Well, on catching sight of her I wondered with great wonderment. 7 And so the angel said to me: "Why is it you wondered? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the wild beast that is carrying her and that has the seven heads and the ten horns: 8 The wild beast that you saw was, but is not, and yet is about to ascend out of the abyss, and it is to go off into destruction. And when they see how the wild beast was, but is not, and yet will be present, those who dwell on the earth will wonder admiringly, but their names have not been written upon the scroll of life from the founding of the world.

Well thank you, Interpretum.
My Watchtower-trained brain sometimes forgets there are other translations and lexicons out there besides the NWT.
And of course my point was how the word is used in reference to Babylon the Great. I see it as a pretty clear message that those who would be "misleading the entire inhabited earth" are operating from a standpoint of not being so visible to the ordinary person, clandestine, if you will. She is also responsible for "all those slaughtered on the earth" including all the holy ones.
In other words, when a lot of people die, the ones ultimately responsible are not necessarily the ones being blamed by the media.
There's no argument that there have been "conspiracy theorists" who have spent their entire life as paranoid schizophrenic nutjobs for no reason. However, a little research indicates that some of these same theorists were proven correct time and time again. World events are clearly indication that the "time of the end" is approaching very rapidly. Events in the middle east are clearly indicating an eruption is imminent.
The words "conspire", "conspired" and "conspiracy" appear in the Hebrew Scriptures of the NWT 39 times, and the vast majority of the times was used to describe organized plots against Israelite kings or kings of the surrounding nations.
I'd love to see how the mafia would function without conspiracies.

Hi Jeshurun: Often times the Conspiracy Theory is associated with crack pots and paranoids. Just the other day I made a comment and I said that the word “Conspire†comes from the Latin, and it literally means “To breath from the same airâ€. If we are to believe what the Scriptures say, and if we truly believe that the UN is the Wild Beast of Bible prophecy, then we must be careful and not dismiss those outrageous claims just like that. The Bible talks about a Wild Beast that takes over the world after receiving a death stroke. It is obvious that that beast has to have a beginning. All of us have a mother, why shouldn’t she? Is she is just going to fall from the sky to take over the world? Of course not; that is ridiculous. We can only wonder who is more ridiculous: the paranoid who thinks about the conspiracy or the naive who think that something can come from nothing.
Quoting...(There's no argument that there have been "conspiracy theorists" who have spent their entire life as paranoid schizophrenic nutjobs for no reason. However, a little research indicates that some of these same theorists were proven correct time and time again)
You hit the nail right on the head. They can see what other people cannot see (YET), but all will be very clear to all the sleeping ones soon. They, the conspiracy theorists(called schizophrenic) are the ones with insite to be be able to see all through everything and are the ones awake. The ones sleeping say..you are listening to lying wonders of satan..but the lying wonders are the lies he is saying about Jesus.
Go back to sleep..sheeple...you let your lights go out, and stopped paying attention they tell you. Soon all will see, they were the ones who were not crazy.
However, a little research indicates that some of these same theorists were proven correct time and time again.
Beg your pardon?
You are saying that
some conspiracy theorists are proven correct with a little research. Some? Few? 10%? 1%? One-in-a-million?
Paranoid schizophrenics are not prophets. Neither are "chicken little's." But there is a fine moral to the story of the boy who cried wolf. There is an increasingly popular mindset that if you're a loon, you must be correct, or blessed, or "of God." If that were true, why not do everything possible to be universally despised? We all know that Jesus' followers would be hated. Does that mean that his disciples should want to be hated?
Folks...you have to be able to see yourself from the outside to see what you're doing to the Good News. When you mix the probable, the plausible, or the possible with lunacy, you're still viewed as a lunatic...and nobody listens to a lunatic. It diminishes the Good News and its embarrassing.
And I might remind you:

Gus, my dear brother.  Exposing the incredible masterminding of world events does nothing but bring even more glory to Jehovah, in my honest opinion, once we realize how many things he has foreseen and has an answer for. Â
The brainwashed masses just might have a few sheep among them that just need to be shown how they're being duped before they can open up their hearts and minds to Jehovah's Kingdom.  Just telling them that it's coming holds no water unless you can show them evidence and ask them to apply their own logic and common sense.  Without this weapon, the ministry is dead, as the futile toiling of the peddlers of the Awake/NWO is proof.  Preachers have been proclaiming the kingdom for centuries.  How else do you expect to show them that it's upon us?  The Bible?  Who out there would just believe the Bible when it's been around for so long and nothing is happening on FoxNews or CNN or NBC or CBS or ABC except Anna Nicole Smith? Or how can they make heads or tails of the Revelation saying that "Satan is misleading the entire inhabited earth" without showing them how?  I've been witnessing to people since I'm 8 years old, and I never really had anyone's attention until I discovered the truth about this world, and I can explain to them why all this is happening and it all makes sense to them.
Why not just let each servant of Jehovah use his own way of preaching and not waste your own time and energy fighting people about it and just accept them as brothers in Christ with the same goal?
If you think the conspiracy stuff doesn't get me extremely attentive ears, you're mistaken.  And I for one am not going to give this up as a weapon just because some people wish to fight tooth and nail to keep Satan's secrets secret.
Sorry, but I have a job to do, and I have my way of doing it.  You can preach any way you like, and as long as it's the truth I would never criticize you.  I'm asking for the same courtesy.  I consider the 9/11 lie to be the weapon of choice, because it is a lie that is easily proven to those who want to listen.  If they don't want to listen, then it's just like the truth that we know is the truth from God's word, they will never see it no matter what you do.
And what about the guidelines, anyway?  Was there a cut and paste?
Do you think posting Satan's lies has been banned on this board?  Oh, everything has to be PROVEN by way of mountains of data?  Common sense and logic has nothing to do with anything?
The lemmings of this world have also been conditioned to be conspiracyphobes, that's being programmed into them too.  Some just refuse to be brainwashed.
 Hey Jeshurun!!
Without this weapon, the ministry is dead, as the futile toiling of the nce!peddlers of the Awake/NWO is proof. Preachers have been proclaiming the kingdom for centuries. How else do you expect to show them that it's upon us? The Bible?
Hows it going buddy? I have singled out this part of your post, because there is something that needs to be said! The ministry is dead without this information? Thats a big statement mate! The Life Force of the ministry comes not from information about how much of the world is lying in the power of the wicked one -- that comes from the Bible -- and the Bible says what it has always said -- the WHOLE WORLD, is lying in the power of the wicked one!
One of the main reasons why the ministry may appear to be impotent, is because the very people that label themselves as Christian are impotent. Impotent with the conditioning of an existence that is far removed from the original, Righteous intentions of Jehovah God! The ministry is not dead my brother -- it is only dead to those who quantify the ministry in terms of our current 7th King existence!!
Yes, people have been proclaiming the ministry for centuries -- how do we show people that the Kingdom is upon us? Easy bro!! You live like the Kingdom is here right now! All Christians have been given the most powerful Force in the Universe -- the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit can do anything a person so has the Faith to manifest -- in fact, the only thing that limits the manifestation of the Spirit in our lives, is in fact -- us! Our perspectives and our perception!
6000 years of "she made me do it, the serpent made me do it" has led to the grand formation of the False Self -- conscious Life Force Energy unaware of its connection to the Universe -- and also, unaware of its connection to Jehovah God! The only Way to the Father is through Jesus! I would also say, the only Way to the Kingdom, is through Jesus! How do you show people that the Kingdom is upon us? Show them Jesus!
Conspiracy theories can be useful, to get a theoretical idea about the dynamics and inners workings of satans system -- but, in my mind, it will not bring people closer to the Kingdom, anymore than watching Fox News. Its all a distraction dude!
:detective: Focus on theory, you manifest theory! :detective:
:peace: Focus on Jesus, Live the Kingdom Now! :peace:
:friends: "Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you]." -- Luke 17:21 :friends:
May LOVE be with you!
your bro -- beau! :friends::friends::friends:
You're right, Digital Punk. I should have said that my ministry was nearly dead for 37 years because no one took me seriously when I told them Jesus came back in 1914. They must have thought I was nuts, and I don't blame them.
I live and work in New York. 9/11 is a big issue here. I also deal with lots of Yankee fans. I ask them about Corey Lidle's bizarre plane crash last year, where his plane suddenly decided to make a u-turn while flying over the middle of the East River, and went straight into the apartment of a woman embroiled in a bitter lawsuit with RH Macy's because she had been hit by a runaway float during the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Plane hits Manhattan skyscraper, in the middle of the playoffs when both New York teams are involved. Lots of eyes watching. The date was 10/11/6. Turn it upside down, what do you get?
When I show that to people, their jaws drop down to the floor.
Thanks for the correction, bro.
Lou
 Hey Jeshurun!!
No problemo my brother!! Now that I have come to see that you are from and live in the New York area, I can get a sense for the level of intensity you must feel! It must have been a surreal experience. I know how I felt when I was woken up during the early hours of the morning -- I was living in Sydney at the time -- I went to work the next day, and it felt really weird, especially when planes flew over, as the airport is quite close to the CBD. We can have an affinity for the area we live in sometimes -- I know I do with New Zealand -- I would imagine New York to be the same (ive always wanted to visit there!!).
You do make a point, in that we all have different things to use in our ministry -- I know I go down the Energy and Consciousness road a lot -- thats part of my mojo, ya see! Hehehe!! If this is part of your mojo, then -- I aint going to look at you any differently Lou! We are all brothers and sisters at the end of the day!
If I get the means to -- im coming over to New York City to have one of those famous New York pizzas with ya!! Hehehe!! Peace to you and your family my brother!
May LOVE be with you!

Hey, Jesh. Don't mean to burst your bubble here but the Yankees had been eliminated from the playoffs the previous Sunday. Cory Lidle's locker had been cleaned out, his season was finished.
Do you see why your conspiracy theories look nutty? They are nutty. Just like most everything I read on the internet, it's filled with conjecture...and when push comes to shove nobody has their facts straight. Take a thousand unrelated facts and research them until you make some bizarre pseudo-connection. Ever heard of 6 degrees of separation? Here's what Wikipedia says:
Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that, if a person is one "step" away from each person he or she knows and two "steps" away from each person who is known by one of the people he or she knows, then everyone is no more than six "steps" away from each person on Earth. Several studies, such as Milgram's small world experiment have been conducted to empirically measure this connectedness. While the exact number of links between people differs depending on the population measured, it is generally found to be relatively small. Hence, six degrees of separation is somewhat synonymous with the idea of the "small world" phenomenon.
Look it up. If you try hard enough, Jesh, you can make any kind of connection you want. The operative words here are: "you want." This isn't exactly rocket science...it's simple mathematics (and a fair dose of psychology 101). Conspiracy theorists rely upon it...and a dumbed-down readership that drools over all the amazing connections proving, "beyond a shadow of a doubt," that conspirators are pulling all the strings.
As I've always maintained, Jesh, there is one significant conspiracy; but you haven't any idea. But you are right about one thing...people are asleep at the wheel. Matter of fact, they are hypnotized...and you know about all the foolish things hypnotized people do while under the influence of the hypnotist.

p.s. here's the part of Rez's thread I had hoped you would pick up on:
"If you wish to get into “conspiracy theory†in depth, there are plenty of places on the world-wide web to do so."
...like, for instance, e-jw.
Ok, so they were knocked out, so what?  All the more reason why they were still in the news every day.  The lemmings can block it all out if they wish, others should have a chance to hear about these "co-incidences" and then make their own decisions.
I don't think it's just another co-incidence, and neither do many of the people I talk to.  Funny how those Illuminati just love to play games with numbers!  I'm sure they had a big laugh about it.  They're gods, after all, they can do whatever they wish!  Just wait, there's more "co-incidences coming. Â
Now if you are of the opinion that the last days are 100 years away, does that mean we all have to listen to you?
Chicken Little, ridiculers with their ridicule.  And the clock keeps ticking.  One day soon, time on this system runs out.
Chicken Little, ridiculers with their ridicule. And the clock keeps ticking. One day soon, time on this system runs out.
Yep. And as long as people keep guessing, somebody's gonna guess "right" someday. It's always somebody's last days. I'd just hate to keep wasting time worrying over what don't matter anyway.
