]Baptists, Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Scientologists, Mormons and other missionaries have flocked to Haiti in droves since the earthquake — feeding the homeless, treating the injured and preaching the Gospel in squalid camps where some 1 million people now live.
In many of the camps, trucks with loudspeakers blast evangelical music while missionaries talk to families under tarpaulin roofs.
The Rev. Florian Ganthier, of an evangelical church that was partially destroyed in the quake, said he knows of dozens of Voodoo followers who have converted in the last month.
"People who practice Voodoo are living in the shadows," Ganthier said. "This earthquake was a sign to all those who do not accept Jesus Christ in their life."

I can't think of a worse advertisement for Christianity than to prey on devastated people.
Surely if non-Christian people there are to be preached to effectively by anyone right now, it should be someone living there, a Christian who has themself suffered broken limbs / lost family / hunger / homelessness due to the quake - and speak truthfully!

Jesus said at Matthew 6:3, 4, "But when you give gifts to the needy, don’t [tell] your left hand what your right hand has done, so your gifts to the needy can be given in secret. Then your Father who watches in secret, will be [the One] who repays you."
Jesus repeatedly warned that; When we brag of the good things we do, that is our reward... don't expect further blessings from our Father in heaven.
Religions that teach such things should first learn from the words of Jesus, and then stop singing their own praises to the press.
