Hi All,
My husband had a total hip replacement done today (2-15-07). He is experiencing pain that is unbearable for him, and unbearable for me to watch. Please, pray for him to have strength to endure....love to all, Linda

Hi Linda-- :hibye: I really want to extend my sympathy to you and your husband for this difficult time and of course remember Both of you in my prayers. I had this op over 15 years ago and I know how he must be feeling. :( But the benefits are MASSIVE and he will feel this more and more with every day that passes. :ok:
We 'replacement receivers' may not quite 'climb up just as a stag does', as in Isaiah 35:6, but we're pretty close! :thumbsup:

Oh, pain is so hard to endure somehow, but the pain of recovery after an operation is, at least, pain that is understood, is positive, and will fade. There is no fear or confusion as to why he is suffering, it is a means to an end, a good end, an end where he will be stronger and fitter.
In the meantime, I pray for you both, that you will be able to find the right words and actions to bring great comfort to him, and that he will sleep well and eat well and that his body will recover swiftly.

Dear Sister:
This is the first time I have written a reply so hopefully am doing it correctly.
Prayer is a powerful blessing that Jehovah has given us. I am certain your husband will benefit greatly from all the prayers that continue to go up for him. Also from the loving support from you and his loving family and friends.
That goes a long way as well in a time of illness.
He will see improvements on a daily basis and soon will look back and think 'well that wasn't so bad' because we do have the ability to for get pain. That is why there are babies continually being born!!LOL
Our prayers and thoughts to bring comfort to both of you will continue.
