While this coming time in our future history isn't going to be a 'pleasant' experience ... if we are on the side of God and his Son ... if we remain faithful and true to serving them in 'spirit and truth' ... then indeed we don't have anything to fear do we?

It will ONLY be those who DELIBERATELY REJECT salvation from Christ and his Father that will die during this time ...
They will have MANY CHANCES before that time to 'repent' of their 'evil ways' ...
The GREAT TRIBULATION to me a major part of that process that will 'sift' out 'wheat from chaff' ...
Perhaps that is part of the pouring out of the bowls by the angels ... I wonder if that is also part of their job of 'separting the sheep and the goats'?
Anyway, in Revelation 16 it speaks about the bowls being poured out ... and when you think about it the WHY this is done ... is to me not just in PUNISHMENT or TORTURE ... but perhaps an ADDITIONAL reason as well ...?
To seek to 'wake up' or 'bring to their senses' the MOST STUBBORN of those left who 'haven't yet repented' perhaps ...? :dontknow::thinking:
These ones had done evil deeds to God's people ... and yet in Rev. 16:8 for example notice what it says at the end of the verse ... :read:
And the men were scorched with great heat, but they blashphemed the name of God, who has the authority over these plagues, and THEY DID NOT REPENT so as to give glory to him.
And then later in verse 11 it says about the fifth bowl ...
but they blashphemed the God of heaven for their pain and for their ulcers, and they DID NOT REPENT OF THEIR WORKS.
So, all these things LEADING UP TO ARMAGGEDON ... is perhaps a CLEANSING work ... a SIFTING work ... rather like the 10 plagues of Egypt ... not pleasant to go through ... but the GOOD FRUITS that it reaped ... that VAST MIXED COMPANY ... were indeed worth the 'heat of cleansing' ... maybe lilke a 'sauna' ...? :P:whistle:

what loving parent doesn't do evrything possible to "wake" their kids up when they are going down a dangerous path.
TV is so benificial for allowing a view into peoples lives. the reality shows about drug abuse/ living with others / and many more help to show how similar we really are how much people just need to make their mind over.
unfortunately parenting 101 is not a black and white course.
God's principles are the only way to become a good parent. not each child should get "blanket treatment" unfortunately we as children often see it as "not fair"
like the last hour worker getting the same pay as the all day workers.
many just cannot accept it!!!
It takes a humble heart to realize that we may not have "sinned" in the same way. or they may not have worked as hard as "us" but if the offender really turns around and is working side by side from toady on in doing "GOD's work" we need to accept them and just move foward in life not bringing up the past.
So the shaking up of "stubborn people" either self righteous or terribly stuck in destructive ways has to happen as you are showing.
I say the sooner the better.. but some people just cannot handle the stress that comes with the shaking. So it will be a very great tribulation unfortunately.

Rev. 22:14 and 15 talks of people out side the city that are not allowed thru the gates to the new Jerusalem because they have not washed their robes. These ones are called, 'the dogs', immoral, etc. So my point being that there people after Armaggedon who are not allowed in the city, yet are still alive. So, I don't believe anymore of the huge annihilation thang, do you?:(
