I believe that Micah explains the parable of the mustard grain.

Consider this scripture:

Micah 2:13
13 “The one making a breakthrough will certainly come up before them: they will actually break through. And they will pass through a gate, and they will go out by it. And their king will pass through before them, with Jehovah at the head of them.”

They will "pass through a gate" and "go out by it".

They are withdrawing from the holy city after having caught sight of the disgusting thing causing desolation.

Notice that it starts with just one!

The one making a breakthrough (a mustard grain)

After withdrawing (fleeing) from the holy city where are they and how many?

The previous verse explains:

Micah 2:12
12 “‘I shall positively gather Jacob, all of you; I shall without fail collect the remaining ones of Israel together. In unity I shall set them, like a flock in the pen, like a drove in the midst of its pasture; they will be noisy with men.’

they will be noisy with men.

But remember, it all starts with one:

Micah 2:13
The one making a breakthrough

One who follows Jesus Christ.

And their king will pass through before them

It is very, very important to follow Jesus Christ:

Revelation 14
These are the ones that keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes. These were bought from among mankind as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb, 5 and no falsehood was found in their mouths; they are without blemish.

When you catch sight of the disgusting thing.... withdraw!

Go out by the gate!

Follow Jesus Christ.

Hebrew 13:13
13 Let us, then, go forth to him outside the camp, bearing the reproach he bore, 14 for we do not have here a city that continues, but we are earnestly seeking the one to come.

Have you seen the disgusting thing?

If you carefully consider what I have explained about the Prophecy in Micah you might want to ponder over how the Kingdom actually gives birth to her sons, the sons of Jacob.

Isaiah 66:7-9
7 Before she began to come into labor pains she gave birth. Before birth pangs could come to her, she even gave deliverance to a male child. 8 Who has heard of a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Will a land be brought forth with labor pains in one day? Or will a nation be born at one time? For Zion has come into labor pains as well as given birth to her sons.
9 “As for me, shall I cause the breaking through and not cause the giving birth?” says Jehovah.“Or am I causing a giving birth and do I actually cause a shutting up?” your God has said.

As for me, shall I cause the breaking through and not cause the giving birth?” says Jehovah.

Micah 2:13
13 “The one making a breakthrough will certainly come up before them: they will actually break through. And they will pass through a gate, and they will go out by it. And their king will pass through before them, with Jehovah at the head of them.”

Isaiah 66
For Zion has come into labor pains as well as given birth to her sons.

Micah 2:12
12 “‘I shall positively gather Jacob, all of you; I shall without fail collect the remaining ones of Israel together. In unity I shall set them, like a flock in the pen, like a drove in the midst of its pasture; they will be noisy with men.’

Isaiah 66
As for me, shall I cause the breaking through and not cause the giving birth?” says Jehovah.

Notice also that the giving birth description in Isaiah 66 follows a scripture which alludes to disfellowshipping:

Isaiah 66:5
5 Hear the word of Jehovah, YOU men who are trembling at his word: “YOUR brothers that are hating YOU, that are excluding YOU by reason of my name, said, ‘May Jehovah be glorified!’ He must also appear with rejoicing on YOUR part, and they are the ones that will be put to shame.”

that are excluding YOU by reason of my name

expelled from the synagogues?

and sandwiched in between theses scriptures in Isaiah is:

Isaiah 66:6
6 There is a sound of uproar out of the city, a sound out of the temple! It is the sound of Jehovah repaying what is deserved to his enemies.

The mustard seed is the same as the stone out of a mountain
which is striking the big statue of Daniel 2

35. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken in pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, so that no place was found for them:
and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain,
and filled the whole earth.

Greetings in Christ,

This tiny mustard seed is now becomming a big tree and taking deep root. Thats because sometimes the tiny ones, who know they are nothing, submit to God, and know they cannot do anything apart from God.

The sin of Jeroboam was that he sought to achieve his own personal agenda. He put himself and his desires before God and distorted God in order to do so. Then he avoided having to face how wrong he was by changing his understanding of God. So Jeroboam never really encountered God during his required temple worship times. He didn't have a relationship with God, and to keep the rest of the nation from having a relationship with God, he set up idol worship.
