The Antikythera mechanism is an antique Greek clockwork device discovered in a shipwreck, that has taken longer than a hundred years to understand. The mechanism itself is at present housed in the Greek National Archaeological Museum in the Greek capital and is regarded to be the single most complex antiquities in existence. Excellent stuff, along with the Baghdad Battery. As a creationist, I have no problem with this stuff... Adam was created as a son of God, and his offspring lived much longer than we do today, so in many ways the history of the Bible shows a gradual deterioration of the human race.

On the other hand, evolutionary history has most of mankind grunting in caves and clubbing each other (and animals) for large periods of time, until we suddenly develop agriculture and writing some thousands of years ago.

Yet structures such as the Great Pyramid, the Baghdad Battery and the Antikythera Mechanism show that ancient people were much smarter than we (or rather, evolutionists) give them credit.

And evolutionists think creationist beliefs are a fairy-tale :D

As you may know by now, I'm Ethiopian by birth, the best example of the degeneration of humans through the ages. Thousands of years ago, Ethiopians had a formidable empire that was trading with ancient China and India in gold coins. The queen of the south who came to visit king Solomon and to worship in Jerusalem to at the temple was our legendary Queen Sheba. Hard to believe that Ethiopia has been such a dominant world power in bible times, while Europe is said to be inhabited by the neanderthaler. :D
