You people must take care to do just as Jehovah your God has commanded you.--Deut. 5:32 ... :rose:

today we will look at a few scriptures on obedience--and thoughts on how obedience blesses our life and is rewarded... :rose:

''The Lord GOd is our sun and shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.'' Psalm 84:11 :rose:

''Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts.'' Psalm 119:1 :rose:

''Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect your decrees! Then I will not be ashamed when I compare my life with your commands. As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should!'' Psalm 119: 5-7 :rose:

''If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.'' John 14: 15-16 :rose:

''God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.'' Philippians 2:13 :rose:

''Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me--everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.''--Philippians 4:9 :rose:

''I will put my laws into their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.'' Hebrews 8:1
:rose:

''We can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments.'' 1 John 2:3 :rose:

''Those who obey God's commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us.'' 1 John 3:24 :rose:

I gathered scriptures that I felt laid a foundation for the special relationship obedience helps create between us and God--and Christ.
Any additions are totally appreciated :heartbeat:
