God is love--1 John 4:8 :rose: :rose:
I am remembering a child who used this scripture to answer just about Everything he was asked scripturally --and it kind of worked :heartbeat: :rose: :rose: :rose:
''I give you a new command. Love each other.
You must love each other as I have loved you. :rose: :rose:
All people will know that you are my followers
if you love each other.'' John 13: 14-15 :rose:
''The Father himself loves you. He loves you
because you loved me and believed that I came from him.''
John 16:27 :rose: :rose:
''I know the love that God has for us, :rose:
and we trust that love. God is love.
Those who live in love live in God,
and God lives in them.'' 1 John 4:16 :rose:
''Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous,
it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude,
it is not selfish, and does not get upset with others.
Love does not count up wrongs that have been done.
Love is not happy with evil but is happy with the truth.
Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts,
always hopes, and always remains strong.''
1 Cor. 13: 4-7 ... :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:
Everyone speaks of love yet God's love is
different from what so many mean. It is an all-
encompassing love that reaches out even for those
who are hurtful--and harmful. It is the kind of love
that needs to be taught and the same love that
Jesus came with and not only talked about --but lived.
We see through Jesus Christ how this love is so strong and so powerful that it changes hearts and lives--even if one at a time. :heartbeat: ..and it still does :heartbeat:
:rose::rose::rose:
have wonderful day today friends. It is Monday again :heartbeat:
and very stormy here at the top of the world... :heartbeat: :grouphug:
