Good Morning, Everyone! :hibye: Daily Scriptural Text for Friday, February 9, 2007:

9 ... He made known to us the sacred secret of His Will. ...
--Ephesians 1:9, New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (with References).

And, now, for context, with the surrounding verses:

8 This He caused to abound toward us in all wisdom and good sense, 9 in that He made known to us the sacred secret of His Will. It is according to His Good Pleasure which He Purposed in Himself 10 for an administration at the full limit of the appointed times, namely, to gather all things together again in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth. [Yes,] in him.--Ephesians 1:8-10, ibid.

One more Complementary Scripture is suggested:

8 To me, a man less than the least of all holy ones, this undeserved kindness was given, that I should declare to the nations the good news about the unfathomable riches of the Christ 9 and should make men see how the sacred secret is administered which has from the indefinite past been hidden in God, who created all things.--Ephesians 3: (8 and) 9, ibid.
__________

My comment: These verses in Ephesians, chapter one, tell us the whole "Biggg Picture."

"The sacred secret of [God's] Will." -- To bring all creation to an undisturbed condition of peace, righteousness, harmony, joy, and satisfaction, where there is never again any cause to "tremble."--Micah 4:4.

"According to His Good Pleasure." -- YHWH never wanted anything different or anything less than what is stated above for His Creation.

"He Purposed in Himself." -- When??? As soon as the "Serpent" brought disharmony into the scene, shortly after the creation of man and woman.

"An administration." -- An arrangement to remove all disturbance and all peace-breakers, to the ultimate full blessing of righteous creation. (Genesis 3:15.) Such "an administration" would fully conform to all standards of Divine Justice; since, -- for the Creator to compromise His own standards, -- could only lead to universal anarchy.

"At the full limit of the appointed times." -- What "appointed times"? The appointed times which YHWH allocated to Satan the Devil, such that he (Satan) might have full opportunity to prove his claims that the Creator's Righteous Sovereignty is not the only way, -- or, even the best way, -- to administer the affairs of creation. Such "appointed times" were determined by the Creator at the onset of universal disruption; and, granted so that all creation might be able to serve as everlasting witnesses as to what happens when the Creator's Righteous Sovereignty is thrown away. In favor of anything else.

"To gather all things together again in the Christ." ... "[Yes,] in him." -- Is it any surprise (?) that the same apostle Paul who wrote the words of today's Scriptural text to the Christians at Ephesus also wrote to the Christians at Corinth:

20 For no matter how many the promises of God are, they have become Yes by means of [Christ Jesus]. Therefore also through him is the “Amen” [said] to God for glory through us.
--2 Corinthians 1:20, ibid.

And, ...

9 But just as it is written: "Eye has not seen and ear has not heard, neither have there been conceived in the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love him."--1 Corinthians 2:9, ibid.

(I have intentionally left the last phrase in Ephesians 1:10 as subject matter for another day, ... unless, of course, some of you may wish to comment on it, ... today!) ;)

Have A Fabulous Friday, Everybody! :giverose:
YHWH's Spirit Helps Us To Search Into Even "The Deep Things Of God"! :ok: (2 Corinthians 2:10.)
