To think of Israel one must go back to the First One.
Jacob was the First Israelite.
Did you know that Israel means
“ God Rules”.
So Jacob lets God rule his Life.
A change in character.
He surrenders in order to be ruled by God.
He See’s Jehovah as Sovereign . From now on he did not
think of his own objectives and completing his desires but relied on whatever God allowed and directed to be the best course for his Life.
He was no longer Jacob but Israel. No longer a manipulator controlling events in his life.

So it must be the same for us.
We operate in faith and trust and allow Jesus to be Sovereign over us.
We wait on him to move events in our lives and trust they will give
the best outcomes for us.
We can accept Jesus as our saviour and continue controlling our life
or we can accept Jesus and make him Lord and Master
developing a waiting attitude on him.

As Jacob wasn’t born with the Birthright so we too.
We are not born with it but we develop it through our trails and tribulations
of life. We mature in the Ways of Jesus and at some point

We become Spiritual Israelites.
Romans 9:8 That is, the children in the flesh are not really the children of God,
but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

The Fire of Christ

By now the believer, Spiritual Israelite is advanced a great way in his journey.
He has been brought to the saving knowledge of Jehovah God, has received faith in his reconciled God in Jesus Christ, has been taught by the holy spirit to Love his God, the request made to God for a good conscience through baptism. And has found holy communion with him as a way of life.


The Seed of God
The Living Christ.
The Fire of the Holy Spirit Within.
Refining fire go through my heart.

Jeremiah describes the condition.

1 Peter 1:7 in order that the tested quality of your faith, of much greater value than gold that perishes despite it’s being proved by fire, may be found a cause for praise and glory and honour at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The new city governed by spiritual Israelites.

Jehovah has a special Covenant with True Spiritual Israelites.
When Jehovah God lives within us in his holy spirit.
He will put his laws in their minds and write them on their hearts.
Hebrews 8:10 “’ For this is the covenant that I shall covenant with the house of Israel after those days,’ says Jehovah. ’I will put my laws in their mind, and in their hearts I shall write them. And I will become their God, and they themselves will become my people.

The Circumcision of the Heart in the Spirit.
Philippians 3:3 For we are those with the real circumcision, who are rendering sacred service by God’s spirit and have our boasting in Christ Jesus and do not have our confidence in the flesh,

All who have faith in Christ as our redeemer qualify to become Spiritual Israelites.
The true Israel of God

I ask you if literal Israel in Isaiah is a type of Gods spiritual children or spiritual Israel, who will compose New Jerusalem and who is the servant called Jacob who comes forth before Israel can be gathered?

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for this thread. I didn't want to disturb it, but Voila! Not my bad.LOL.

I found, especially, faith strengthening was how Jacob changed to follow God. I'm at a crossroads and I don't know which is the right path to take. Which way is the RIGHT answer?

I've taken plenty of time. I've been able to weather sickness, monitor my mood cycles (still consistently hormonal) and I find that part of me wants my husband to win. Why? I know why. Why would I ruin a relationship to start, again, with someone who left me high an dry, twice? I'm only doing it for the children, that's not for my benefit. Its sounds like pure failure.

All I do, is ask what I should do, pray for others, and take care of mine.

Thank you again for "tight" scriptures about "difficult" issues. Following our God is not easy when we don't know how to listen.

Yes it is good for the woman to be hidden in the wilderness! Being trapped in the confused christian world is not the place to be in these final harvest times. Those ouside of false Christiaity have the only true heavenly hope of Gods true spiritual seed. The false waters or truths of satan are taking over many but thank God the woman is safe. The world problems will stop his efforts by taking down false Christianity just like we are seeing today with the money of the churches failing to keep them afloat. The time is short and the harvest will divide the wheat from the tares as the troubles gets worse.

Jehovah’s invitation to become spiritual Israelites will be open until the last spiritual son has been changed in an instant. Right up to that time.

I found the line from Romans 2:28 encouraging for those of us who try hard really hard to listen to the spirit and NOT from any WRITTEN CODE. Patience has been the hardest obstacle for me and I think that I have learned more through practicing "waiting". The spirit comes and directs at his own pace. Hindsight occurs over time, so I decided to try to be patient so that my hindsight isn't "my bad" decision making. It becomes one that has been firmly established. I'm still in the beginning stages of practicing patience;) I've been one fast impulsive person!

I found Hebrews 10:19 interesting. One that I wouldn't mind sharing a comment about the sprinkling from a wicked conscience. Normally, I would want to check with other translations but I feel so tired and lazy:outcold: (It's a knocked out emoticon for anyone wondering if its a crown, but it does make a cute crown even revolving around, cool!:rofl:) Anyways, the sprinkling of the conscience expresses that its not an instantaneous feeling to freed from our guilt as we confront our weaknesses. I feel very sad for any of us who grieve at heart while waiting for a release. I'm happy to know that flowers will bloom after the rains:giverose:.

These have the hope of a life on earth.
