I was thinking about how many hurt and wounded people are alive and struggling. From physical to mental ailments we all have some issue to overcome. Some have many problems and yet seem to muster the courage to face another day. while some still fall into a trap and become so downhearted that they take life others and their own sometimes.

I have completely decided that "knowing" anything to the point that I can get points for being right is useless.

But this type of thinking whether people see it or not is fairly comin where I live. I will generalize and say it is comon amongst humans.

So I thought to myself why does it matter? and I came up with.

I am right and your dead. Because essentially that is what many people are in fact saying to one another on daily basis over things they believe to be true. From a hevean/hell basis

Why do people try to convince others of anything at all? it is either from a selfish motive or from a heart felt desire to help.
I think that is part of the problem with cults and fanatics abroad.
The SELFISH minded can control the sincere and put a good face on evil things so to speak. Like religions that basically teach hatred for others. I realize it is not just religions that teach this. And the ones that do sugar coat it so it tastes just fine and people cannot realy tell.

I see it on some boards I have visited. the way people hurl the "god will" this you and God will that you. I find it funny that GOD told us to Love our neighboors and pray for our enemy's and he has yet once to appear and say anything like these men and women say.

So my point in writing this.
We'll what if their is a logical / practical way of talking to people to maybe help GOD open some more eye's that will show them that they are holding onto some dangerous thoughts and or feelings.

For instance I use JW's as an example now because I am familiar mostly with the mental beliefs.
While many at the bottom have such great motives and sincerity how would we approach and punch thru the good works being the command to preach? "in the manner that they do of course"
Well I would start with the some were evengelizers and others had different callings. but all who are part of the body play an important part. just like in the physical world we need planners to street sweepers. But we don't need the ego's so as to make some feel lesser in their Job that is of Satan.
So with say a muslim who we may not understand their background how could we do the same thing?

I believe GOD will give us the words but what if we can come up with some ideas on how we as individuals can deliver them in a good way.
Because we are emotional if we don't think ahead we can trip over our emotions. I kinda feel that it what the helmet/sheild/sword analogy are about. wroking on ourselves ahead of time to be of service at the right time.

Would love to hear great ideas on proper conversation and communication from many who have been on this trip already
Hi there my dear brother TD! :D:hibye:

So lovely to hear from you as it has been awhile since I have been able to spend time 'talking' with ya'll as much as I would like in recent months ... :friends::grouphug:

Speaking for myself ... :giverose:

It isn't about whether I am 'right' ... but my heart-felt goal :heartbeat::happyheart: since I became a 'member' (hopefully thought of as a 'family' member) way back on the old EW board) was to somehow be of ENCOURAGEMENT to others and to BE encouraged as well ...

Isa. 35:3 ...

(BBE) Make strong the feeble hands, give support to the shaking knees.

(GNB) Give strength to hands that are tired and to knees that tremble with weakness.

Rom. 1:12 ...

(BBE) That is to say, that all of us may be comforted together by the faith which is in you and in me.

(CEV) What I am saying is that we can encourage each other by the faith that is ours.

(GNB) What I mean is that both you and I will be helped at the same time, you by my faith and I by yours.

I think that that is the motive of most of us here ... needing to 'be in touch' by those with 'faith, hope and love' in God and his Son ... wanting to 'spiritual people' and speak of 'spiritual things' ...

To BUILD UP OUR FAITH so that when we need it most it will be there for us SAFE and STRONG to help us to ENDURE whatever lies ahead!!

I hope that mine may prove to be so as well as all of us here and whereever others of like mind and heart may be!!

Much love to you my brother ... from your sis BR :sheepy: :bouncyhearts:
Share information.....let the hearers/readers choose for themselves....that's my motto.:ok:

Rez :siskiss:
Hi Sis,
i have missed you.
I hope you have weathered your storms well.

I do see you as an encouraging person as well as many others.

I am speaking of those with the mentality of "i am right" no matter where they are. It may have been "us" at one point.
I am hopeing that I "we" will get some ideas about where this veiwpoint comes from as well as how to be a good example in refuting it as a follower of Christ.
you are talking about encouraging your "fellow believers" I have wondered who my fellow believers are for a long time. It has only been in the recent past that I am starting to see who they are.
we who have been part of a few of these jw style boards have a different mindset then some of those on regular christian boards from what I have seen.

We only are free in Christ when we follow no man, angel, or any other thing can can become an Idol as far as I can tell.

I think sometimes peoplehold on to things so tightly that they have just accepted and not proven and it becomes a stumbling block.

So how to we talk to those type of people in hopes that our father may open their eye's is more of where I am going
TD: We only are free in Christ when we follow no man, angel, or any other thing can become an Idol as far as I can tell.

Br. Mike: I agree TD! I think you are right when you say it is about preparation and may I add the testing of our faith and character also that our God allows things to be the way they are today. I grow weary of the in fighting among those who should understand and practice love the most, God very own spiritual seed, his future heavenly sons and daughters.
If I have come to understand one thing it is without God in us nothing will change. Right now everything is spiritually oriented for the purpose of finishing Gods spiritual heavenly children in time for their ascension and translation to spirit so they can forever be with him. Our God will not return before his spiritual children are made ready to come to him, first. I believe from what I see and hear this is the work at hand and is what God is focusing on in every chosen individual who is to be of his spiritual body or church.
I agree we should no follow no man, angel, or organization boards as if they can speak for God better than God himself. I have seen a misconception on this reasoning on every board or church I have attended. The enemy has taken the word or meaning of, follow, to mean you cannot trust anyone but God. I say you cannot love your brethren without trusting them. I believe trust, honesty, benevolence, charity, sympathy etc are all characteristics of what makes love, love, and is the very essence and greatest power of our Gods being. I think to follow is one thing I think to listen to those Gods sends on his behalf is another thing. To think you cannot trust anyone’s words goes against the way God brought his message to us in the first place through the ancient faithful and apostles. Of course we must know what is of God and what is not and that is why maturity of spirit must be found in the truth and not in the words of the evil one. The evil one leads us away when we are young in spirit and easily influenced by religious thinking men, fallen angels etc. Our faith in God alone frees us from this condition. Once free God alone helps us know what is good and what is bad. As we grow with Gods help at times God allows us to share with others so they to can see what God has done for us as individuals. If brethren see God has helped us then we can tell them who satan has blinded they to can go back to God and he will help them as he has helped us. I think all we can do is point others in the right direction and by our love show them it is God within us that calls them to come back to him so they to can love the way God loves. God, faith and love seems to me to be the way the path Jesus wants us to follow so we can be like him in righteousness and loving kindness above all else. That’s where I have ended up and there is no looking back now or would I want to!
If we cannot trust each other to me it is clear our love is shallow. When I say I love you because God first loved me and showed that love can reach the sinful deceitful person I was, full of anger and falsehoods, it tells me I should love unconditionally all my brethren regardless if they have truth or are right or wrong.
I will end this quickly because to me there is only one thing I can do or say that I know cannot harm anyone and that is to make sure they understand that if they put all their faith in God and God alone they will have all they will ever need. For me it has come down to this I love all no matter what condition they are in for the moment. What I know takes back seat to the one which I have put all my faith in Jesus my Christ, God, and savior. If I know anything that stands as Gods truth it was put there by God for the sake of all not to elevate myself in any way. If what I think is truth is not then what harm if what I thought came from an honest heart and was meant for good not bad.
What needs to stand is my love for brethren all over the world and that my faith remains in my God at all cost. If we all would just focus on giving God our all and loving each other as God loves us then what we try to share with each other, be it truths or visions, right or wrong perceptions, should not take away from these two priorities God has taught us, faith in and God and love for each other. I leave it with these two verses because what you have stated is true as far as I dare say.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Thank You Brother for Such Honesty!
