hello everyone,

I have been reading the "warning, controversial thread" page 1 to 9 a bit.

Eversince my heated posting activities on this forum i have heard, red and thought many things. I decided that my arguing was an endless source of strife that was conducive to chaos not peace, intellectual not uplifting, heavy instead of delightfull and confusing instead of comprehensible.

I'v grown quite fond of the mount sermon and the 4 gospels (and the rest of the NT to a lesser degree) as they are known in the Bible. As you might feel coming i started to realise what i was doing something that was contrary to what i had learned from the 4 bible gospels. A bible quote that pops up in my mind every time i come to this board is "blessed are the peacemakers". It seems to me the very nature of a discussion board is steeply inclined to heated debate (especially in the controversy section) that at present further seperates us not only from God but also from direct and healthy relationships among ourselves. (divide and conquer 101:confused:)
Cursed are the antagonists?

And in my opinion you need to be capable of having a friendly relationship with other people if you want to be capable of relating to Jehovah and thus completely accepting Jehovah, our heavenly father. There isnt at all a debate about wether or not to follow the 2 most important commandments. However, the debating:readthis: seems to drown out any focus on being eachothers friends and family. I see this divisiveness in some remarks made by "both sides" (and myself) i am sure you can see them too when you look at it from this perspective.

I think i would have been quite ashamed if i had "blessed are the peacemakers" quoted to me while i was in the middle of perpetuating arguments like the ones i have had on his board. Some of the things i have said i think were disruptive and discomforting and for that i apologize . As you might quess i am learning. The tendency to have a disruptive debate remains with me, but is fading away as i crowd it out with sister and brother friendlier habits.

It appears to me the debating in is crowding out what the entire board already agrees on right now: "To love God with all our heart and being and to love our neighbours as ourselves".
I hope this makes a lot more sense then everything else i have previously posted on this board.

Well be kind, happy and peacefull :)
Sander
