With a heavy heart I report that in a rural town up in the province of Punjab in a city of poor Christian dwellers muslim politicians, mullahs and other terrorists put to fire almost a 100 homes
Seven Christians were burnt alive
The govenrment officials were informed of the pending doom but it fell on deaf ears
The Chief Minister whose of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif brother of the former deposed Prime Minister did not bother to even visit the city and sympathize with the victim's families.
All he did was to issue a statement with an evil smile on his face saying the act was not justified.
His own political party workers are said to be involved in the murder of innocent Christians of Gojra, it was they who inflammed the mob comprising of thousands of terrorists who attacked poor unarmed peaceful Christians
NGOs and social workers were shouting their heads off while the trouble was brewing but no one paid attention.
Now that the horror has been committed media like vultures is constantly beating the story
Remember the poor helpless children of God of Pakistan
Sometimes it seems we are actually children of some lesser god
Very sad, indeed, Fzubair. :( I saw it on the news. The atrocities man has done to man over the years most definitely shows how much we need Jahweh's rule, doesn't it? Let's all pray for that kingdom to come, as Jesus said we should do.
Agape,
Grateful :giverose:
indeed what a sad sad event.
"Sometimes it seems we are actually children of some lesser god"
This has been one of the very things that has weighed me down recently.
My conclusion. We are under the power of the wicked one.
Let me try to explain how heavly weighted those words are.
I am under the belief at the Moment that when Adam sinned he not only sold his soul to the devil but evry humans.
I believe that is why we needed a randsom. We needed to be bought from the devil for some reason he owns us. We are his slaves completely to the fullest degree.
That is why i started the thread on wrestling.
I believe that for whatever the reason even with our Soul being bought back it was not an instantaneous thing.
I believe we have to accept the free gift then grow into MEN/WOMEN to make full use of the gift.
Satan has beaten us mentally so that we are cowards and fall into all sorts of injurius things and do these to others.
Jesus showed us the way how to stand up to the Devil "he defeated death to give us the fullest picture"
The problem is in my mind that people really have not come very far the whole world is in fear constantly and if not fear for their life fear of what others think of them.
The Corporations use it "we will lose our jobs"
Religions uses it " we are condemnded to hell"
Small group uses it "group think" cast out
We are afraid of being on our own fro the most part.
But we have no worries Our heavenly Father understands and that is why he was willing to do anything within the "rules" and truth to set us free including Die for us if he could. So he sent his Son to prove their LOVE for us.
We fear for our safety, if we are safe we fear for our comfort "materialism" we fear just about evrything but we really didn't stand a fighting chance the devil is cunning andknows us better then we know ourselves it seems.
So after my long winded babling.
IS our GOD lesser? or weak?
No he is kind and patient. And that is the problem for us but it is also why we are blessed.
It is the problem becuase we have to endure until his plan comes full circle.
It is our Blessing because if he was not the way he is we would have something trully terrible to fear!!!!!
IF he beat us severly for every mistep we would trully never be able to have the kind of relationship he has offered.
HAve you seen a beaten animal??? they become very skitish...
they cower if you make a move. That is satans way of Ruleing..
I will pray for you brother.
But Remind those whom you know as I heard the saying if a good man does nothing then evil wins. or something to that effect.
We just have not seen enough selfless people conquer satan fully yet!!
we can see what we need to do but to do it seems imposible.
dear farhat, my precious brother,
when unspeakable things such as this happen, it makes us just want to sit down in the dirt and cry, doesn't it? in such a case as this, as soon as i can get my mind to leave the immediate horror, i try to focus on the fact that these dear one only suffered but a moment (in their death) but will be blessed a thousand times over in their resurrection. our gracious god has promised to make it up to us for all that we suffer -- all of us. (1 cor. 2:9) i grieve with you brother. it is the only thing we can do, while we wait for our deliverance. totaldismay speaks with much wisdom inspired by holy spirit so you might want to read his post an extra time or two. try to bear up, fzubair, asking god and christ for strength beyond what is normal as you may require it.
your friend and brother, ... isomam
Yes ISO, your apporch is the best. Some poor souls are actually better off dead then alive.
Dear Bro Fzubair,
How cruel and bestial humans are when separated from God.
Come quickly our Lord Jesus to bring to an end these atrocities. It's true that some are best hidden in death for protection, the way out for a short while.
Prayers for you bro Fzubair to bear up.
Tessa

Dear brother Isomam,
How can I thank you for your precious words, you have been so loving in your expressions, wish I could reach your sentiments to the families who have lost their loved ones.
Pakistan has been brutalized by religious political parties such as Jamat e Islami and other such outfits who have eversince the Afghan war polarized the people against minorities.
The hindus and christians both are an open target to what has been happening to us for the last 30 years.
It seems evil forces are preparing an outbreak of a huge war between muslim and christian world, the hate speeches and the acrimonious propgaganda of the mullahs that I have been hearing eversince my early youth all point to such an event.
I like to thank all brothers and sisters for their support

Dear TD,
I am sure you must know this that the idea that we humans were sold to the Devil and he is our partial owner under while we are alive and complete owner of our souls once we die is what I learned from the Babylonian epic of the god Marduk who is killed by a boar and his wife Ishtar goes to the underworld (believed to be the place where dead are confined) and meets with a god who is the incharge and controller of that place.
There she works out a deal with him so that Marduk spends 50% of his time on earth (springtime) and 50% in the land of the dead (winter).
This shows that the ancients knew that all men upon death are taken prison by a god who takes them to the land of the dead and they are his prisoners.
If this is true then Jesus freed us from that god's prison and will not allow him to imprison us when we die this gives a new hope and happiness too that Jesus our Lord actually freed us who were born-prisoners without hope and dignity.
What do you think of this
Farhat Zubair
Words they just do not convey things as we feel about them.
You replied bro
"I am sure you must know this that the idea that we humans were sold to the Devil and he is our partial owner under while we are alive and complete owner of our souls once we die"
I believe we all died "cut off from the True GOD already" Adams sin.
I tend to believe that we are not waiting for physical death and then are owned by Satan I believe he owns us completely in full untill we trully except Jesus and are willing to die following him. Showing him our true love of him and one another. "we die for our freinds"
Do you see where that would leave a large majority of people in this world?
you also said
"If this is true then Jesus freed us from that god's prison and will not allow him to imprison us when we die this gives a new hope and happiness too that Jesus our Lord actually freed us who were born-prisoners without hope and dignity."
I tend to believe at the moment that he "came to save the world"
Was more of and opportunity then an absolute. HE came and opened the door to a real relationship with our hevenly father and in turn those who trully accept the invite step thru the door and are trully free. The rest I fear don't even see the opportunity given to them.
So I Believe that the hope is to break free of the bonds right now. not even at death of the body. When he is able to renew our minds while here in the flesh our spirit is free also and we can server him in spirit and truth while in the flesh at this point. therefore no need death "cut off from GOD" as apposed to go to sleep in the ground kinda death.
I beleive that since some do not take hold of this opportunity for whatever the reason that is why Christ will reign for a millenia.
To live under a firm but loving king. And then they get the test to see if their hearts are indeed changed.
I hope this better explains my current beliefs.

Dear Brothers:hibye:
Thanks for the nice exchange of thoughts:heartbeat:.
I really liked TD's point of view.
Without being confrontational, Dear Fzubair, wouldn't comparing hell to pagan beliefs shy you from those beliefs?
Thanks y'all:love:

I am so sorry my dear brother. I read about what is going on in Pakistan and my heart weeps for our brothers and sisters there and all of the victimized and terrorized people.
Jah sees it all and soon there will be a reckoning. Please be safe, you and yours.
You and yours will be in my prayers. May Jah watch over you and keep you safe.

Dear sister Lou,
Asalam Alaikum,
Which in my language Urdu means peace be upon you!
What a previlege we both have to be belonging to the same faith, same Lord and also to have another thing in common.
That is that we were muslims before.
Thank you for your sweet words, we miss your comments as nowadays you don't post that often. Maybe you are very busy, but do take the time out to remember your extended family here:grouphug:
From your last post I learnt the peculiar circumstances some of your husbands family are, hope things are working themselves out and not causing you a lot of stress and grief.
May the Lord keep you and your loved ones safe and happy always

*Hope this is correct I am presuming to call my self your brother:) I studied Arabic in School and also did a short course too, and simply love to hear an Arab especially ladies when they speak it, you have such a flow in your language and it sounds so great.
I admire the singing of Umme Kulthum, and Lebenese Fairoz

Hi Deb,
Yeah you're kind of right.
But the Bible itself is a confusing book
Jesus uses parables sprinkled with what you would call 'pagan belief' for example Rich man and Lazarus. You would say he was telling a story so don't take it as literally.
The question is according to 'the belief' that 'accurate knowledge will set you free' using pagan belief or making reference to pagan beliefs in a positive way (which Jesus would be guilty of if this line of reasoning is correct) is wrong.
I remember watchtower mentioning that we should not name the names of foreign gods because they ought to be repulsive to us.
Therefore, how come in the gospels so many so called pagan references abound such "their worm would not die and their fire will not be extinguished?"
confusion! confusion! confusion!
By the way I am not attending the baptist church, dont get much out of there except singing among strangers (me being an antisocial person to begin with).
As you said this I write not in argument but in pure confusion, I have resolved not to do any further questionings but to wait upon HIM who if He deems it necessary will supply the explaination or He won't:hug:
Much love to you and your loved ones dear sis
Dear Fzubair:hibye:,
I just wanted you and everyone to know that I think about what our debates have been, often. Having the freedom to share our passion is sometimes the only soothing part of my life besides prayer and divine intervention.
Even though I may come off a little flippant, I can assure you that I think very deeply over things. The trinity, why Jesus and God being the same is important to others, why we believe in Christ when other groups have other answers. All come as great shock and turmoil. World History is an awful class to get through because of the simple way that God is just a part of humans life and confusing, at that.
I really thought I was going to feel more educated and be able to keep up with the "Latin tamers" LOL. My own words. I can't keep up with anything.
I seem to be questioning more and hanging on tight to what I have. I have found a personal appreciation for you from meditating on the differences we have experienced on the forum.:heartbeat: Hold on tight, dear brother. No matter how confusing things may get or be, we have hope in the God Almighty. Satan can hurt me in every way, even crushing both sons faith because they believe that their mom should not suffer like I have. How can God hurt their mother who loves God so much? They don't understand that things don't work like that. Satan wants to crush me because I have such deep faith. They are just targets to get to me. I pray our Father helps me teach them above and beyond the pain, all on His time.:heartbeat:
I, too, find this world almost unbearable. Each day holding enough anxiety and blessings that I have a hard time focusing on the good.:friends: Changes are happening so fast, I can't adjust emotionally. I just get through it like a robot. My home exist of my two daughters and I, now. My difficult child is with his father who is helping him be with his "tribe", Catholic, oh yeah:funnyface:.
I just wanted you all to know your are important to me. I'm saddened by our worlds condition and suffering. My prayers are for all of us:pray:
With Sis Love, Debbie
Why are Muslims and Christians in such great conflict?
According to my history book both Islam and Christianity are offshoots of the Jewish God, Yahweh.
Why the immense hate? Fear? stereotyping?
I just don't understand it:dontknow:
Your confused Sis, Debbie
