Over the weekend I heard from people attending the Channel Islands assembly also the Bournemouth assembly that the org' has finally admitted they got it all wrong about 1975.
Has anyone else heard this?
Why has their self importance & pride made them take 34 years to say this? When they were so very quick to blame the R&F for going beyond what they mean't.

:huh: Seein' is believin' - and I haven't seen anything in print. Admission is not an apology for the damage done to 2 generations - but it would be a start. Would love to see it - humility is freeing. :thumbup:

Yes I heard it was mentioned in the convention. However I did not attend the convention this year. Those who attended posted about the convention on other sites so I came to know about it. Here is some examples.

Losch brought up 1975 and compared it to a mother being wrong on predicting the day her baby would be born-of course she wouldn't throw out the baby clothes, cribs, etc because of this, she KNOWS the baby is coming!

Not quite what I'd been led to believe they had said.
I suppose its just too much to expect them to be up front with us & not put 'spin' on anything the org' say's it said regarding '75.
