Straight Talk To Pastors - Frank Viola (pdf)
The Scene: Thirty pastors ruling over ten churches in Santiago, Chile invite one man from the United States to speak to them about church life and church leadership. The Result: A high-drama, edge-of-your-chair message and a hair-raising question-answer session on church leadership, eldership, and authoritarian abuse that lasted the better part of an entire day! What some have called "the most remarkable church council ever to occur on South American soil," this book contains the entire transcript of that meeting.

Knowing Christ Together (pdf)
The Christian life was never meant to be lived by isolated individuals. It was meant to be lived with other Christians. That is the premise of this book. Knowing Christ Together is a unique work that treats the subject of knowing Jesus Christ—not as an individual Christian—but as a member of a functioning body of believers. The book focuses on how a group of Christians who have fellowship with one another can learn to know and walk with Jesus Christ together.

Thank you folks, there is some great stuff there, some I have most I don't.

This might be a good place to ask this question:

Does anyone know where I can get any writings by Carl Bart? Not even sure if that's the correct spelling. But he seems of have been an extaordinary Christian and I would love to get my eyes on his thoughts.

Thanks

Maria

This site has about 100 different Bible translations, including interlinears, which I find very useful.

Great post!  In fact, I was going to ask, next to the NWT and Kingdom Interlinear, which bible translation(s) would you most recommend?  (Not necessarily an online one)

Here's a resource called the 'Way Back Machine' which lets you browse through 85 billion web pages archived from 1996 to a few months ago.  It's great for finding material from now defunct web sites.

For reading I like the New Revised Standard Version

For study I like the Apostolic Bible Polygot

Great references you guys.

Thanks a lot.

I have used the E-sword quite a bit and have downloaded a lot of the translations and dictionaries so I have it all on one screen.

Hi Martha,

'The Message' is a wonderful translation, at least in my opinion. I love to read it.:)
It's a more easy-to-read modern translation, but it is a great Bible to read next to your other translations.
