Yes, it was over the phone....but to finally hear his voice!

It reminded me of how much you guys helped when I was waking up.

Vickie, you were instrumental. You called me and it was good to hear a born-in/die hard call me a warrior for truth. My truth just happened to lie outside the bible. Well, not really. The bible (read Christ) pointed me that way.

I'm not the least bit concerned about doctrine. I would much rather break a man-made (read religious nut) law than hurt someone's feelings. Doctrine gives someone else control. Letting someone tell you what the bible supposedly says gives them control. Not again. I simply refrain from talking doctrine with folks.

Now, if anyone wants to just tell me how they are doing, or needs words of encouragement to get through this life........I'm your girl.

Gus was kind enough to share his # when I was so upset about Amber some years ago...I think it was after she accidentally killed someone while driving her truck.
