Hi Vicky

Wow. Thanks for sharing. Personally, I wish more of these kinds of experiences (the good and the bad) could be shared.

I've also found that the Father and Jesus have a very good sense of humour :D
Honestly, I think more experiences should be shared because some people have 'no clue' about 'spirit activity' that effects us personally.

As JW's, we were taught to block everything. I was told scary spirit bad stories such as: a little boy saw little smurfs dancing on the bed because he loved smurfs too much, so the demons took advantage of that love, so we must be careful not to idolized anyone or anything. The only "good" spirit story is so and so is anointed, my question, "How do they know?" the answer, "I don't know, they just do." WHAT??? That's it????

The fact remains that we were not taught how holy spirit interacts with our lifes. The greatest amount of holy spirit interaction is taught to come from the meetings and out in field service. While holy spirit can and does interact during any of those times, I personally feel that we were deprived of the availablity of holy spirit interacting many times a day. Maybe the keeping ourselves 'separated' stunted it so much. I was thinking yesterday if the WTBTS will be held guilty for doing a sin against the holy spirit. Look at the recent Watchtower, you can visibly see that they are not allowing the ones Jesus chooses to testify and speak about the goodness and mercy they have been shown. The WTBTS suppresses this glory! In turn, how can the glory spread within the congregation? I think out of all the crimes they are guilty of, this is the worst. I don't think any other faith does this. Catholics teach that Jesus can "bless" or send an angel to his children, Baptists, Penecostals, etc...believe in the spirit and some are much more spirited than others! I can't decide who is 'personally' getting the good stuff or not, can you?

I had many questions about these things , when I first began to question. I read a book this summmer that answered them.
"The Stronghold of Grace" Rethinking Spiritual Warfare in the Light of Grace, by Nicholas DiDonato.
I'll try to find time to post the scriptures he quotes & bits of his reasoning. The book was comforting besides interesting.
