That's what I meant before, by the fact that Jah referred to both of them as Adam many times in Genesis, so another question did Jesus have more ribs :-D heh heh
Hmm...... reminds me of this topic.
http://www.paradisecafediscussions.net/s...p?tid=2449
I feel Jesus was made from Jehovah, just as Eve was made from Adam, and in turn the bride of Christ is begotten of Jesus.
In nature much plant life and some animal life is cloned, rather than being a reproduction from two parents. Jehovah is one therefore Jesus has to be his clone, Eve the clone of Adam, and the Bride a clone of Jesus.
1Cr 15:22 "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
But it does not suit the purposes of the WT Society to give Adam a resurrection.
After all, if Adam who was perfect and sinned is covered by Christ's blood, how can they condemn the imperfect non-JW world of mankind?
I also think they will be back.Makes sense to me, and most definitely shows us God's great mercy, and the extent of his Son's precious ransom for all.:heartbeat:
Agape,

That's what I meant before, by the fact that Jah referred to both of them as Adam many times in Genesis, so another question: did Jesus have more ribs? :-D heh heh
which leads to still another question:
when the frog saw adam wake up right after his creation, what did mr. frog say? :dontknow:  :dontknow:
rib-it. rib-it. :P :P :P
I have always felt that they would come back despite what the almighty tower said.
I have heard from a former JW who is quite the historian of the whole scenario, that the general rate of growth of the Society was about 2500 per annum until the Judge adopted this anti-Adam stance. Then it grew to about 40,000 per year.
Of course Catholicism's hell fire filled the pews and emptied the fields on Sunday

"Much ado about nothing."
Despite all the speculation and claims of heretical beliefs, it's all just words and opinions that should have no impact on our lives or faith in God.
We'll know for sure if and when we get there.
Since Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and bad, the only way they will understand the extent of good and bad caused, is by being resurrected. They will know it and will have to face it. There is no more mention of the tree of good and bad anywhere in the Bible because we have lived through it. Instead in Revelation there is the tree or wood of life (Jesus) producing 12 fruits and the leaves are for the curing of the nations Rev. 22:2 (note WT mistranslates this one too). need to discuss with you too Jim.
"Much ado about nothing."
hmmm. well, jim, maybe to you. to me it really is something.
my view of the relationships and positions of my creator toward my first earthly parents affects how i view the creator of all. it shapes my feelings toward yhwh. it affects the extent to which i am drawn to him (or not). it necessarily affects my worship.
:2cents: from iso...

Well then; if your speculation is wrong, you're in for a huge disappointment.
Hi all,
As to whether or not a man is raised, or not raised, is in the hands of God and he will act in perfect justice and love..either way.
Since it seems reasonable to believe from scripture the whole of the Father's purpose is centred on Jesus Christ and God's love in sending his only begotten to walk the 'road' to Calvary for alienated sinners such as we, anything else God does for other sinners, is very secondary and in no way as transforming for humans as God's love in Christ is/was.
Peace to all
Derek
Greetings.
My response to this topic, at one time, (a few years past), was an emotional one....(iso probably remembers my tirade...grin) I prefer now to rely on scripture.
It is not speculation that Adam sinned. It is not speculation that Adam was guilty.
1Peter 3:18...
" For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, an innocent person for the guilty, so that he could bring you to God. He was put to death in the sphere of the flesh but was made alive in the sphere of the spirit,..."
It is not speculation that "in Christ all will be made alive."
1Corinthians 15:20...
"But at this moment Christ stands risen from the dead, the first one offered in the harvest of those who have died.
For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also came through a man.
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ will all be made alive."
Christian love and appreciation to all....( no exceptions...ALL...grin)

I wonder;
If we make it to the resurrection and find that Adam and Eve are not there, who will be wrong... us or God?
I suspect that if more of us actually believed in a resurrection and that we will see a Judgment day, we would be far less dogmatic and vocal about our destinies and personal conclusions, because many of us will look (and feel) very silly.
I Believe all will be raised.
For how long? IS the question i have..
I think for some long enough to learn that every thought every choice every glance changes the world in one way or another.
God warned Cain not to continue down his train of thought.
WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK
We have been given a gracious gift to rethink what we have become.
and to be made again,
Thanks be to God the father and our savior Jesus to give us the breathing room to relearn who we can be.
AMEN

Hi brother Jim!!
Yeah, but isnt this true with ALL matters of interpretation? EVERYTHING is practically speculation, and in someone's eyes, EVERYTHING is a heretical belief.
I think we need to speculate more. The discouragement of speculation is a Watchtowerism. If reality doesnt agree with the Watchtower, people are told to 'wait on Jehovah' and 'not to speculate', because 'this leads to independant thinking' and 'thats what got Eve in trouble' because 'blah blah blah'.
What will happen, will happen. What will be, will be. Yet I still believe we have the freedom and privledge of making up our own minds as to how we see reality eventuating, as it is a gift from God. I do think that Adam will be ressurected -- but if God thinks otherwise, oh well -- what are ya gonna do about it? I dont mind looking silly. Silly becomes inconsequential if one has been afforded the blessing of life everlasting. So, I know what im gonna do!!
Make up my own mind...;):friends:
Cheers brother Jim! :friends:
WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK
Yes, my BIG bro, I agree.
We live in a "Thought Universe" -- everything that exists, has ever existed and will ever exist has its origins in the Mind. So we are made in the image of the Great Spirit - the One who "Causes to become" - so too, we 'cause to become' -- we walk with the Light or the darkness and we become what we predominantly think about -- whats freaky, is that this includes everything that we think about unconsciously.
"For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." -- Proverbs 23:7
Cheers Franky Panky!! :thumbsup::clap:
