This one's interesting, because it's used illustratively throughout scripture, just as a woman goes through great pains to bring to birth, but then forgets her pain once the child is born.

Men don't you just love 'em?

Of course we don't forget. It's like saying you forget that a broken leg is painful, when you start to walk again.

Fortunately we know 1Tim 2:15 to be a gloss. "and she shall be saved through the child-bearing, if they remain in faith, and love, and sanctification, with sobriety".

This made me chuckle. Man hu, of course we forget the pain, otherwise there would never be child #2 or 3 or 4, etc. But I get your point. And damn, it did hurt, but 30 years later, I'd have another in a minute.

In my very first vision of Christ, I was up walking about in a white cloud. This is where he spelled out with puffs of cloud vapors, "YOU ARE ONE OF MY SHEEP, YOU HEAR MY VOICE" so it is the truth and Jesus does come in the clouds, in my case at least.

Mark 9:7
7.Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!"

John 14:21 (New International Version)
21. Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

We Shall Behold Him! Jesus is coming back to Earth to those who have made themselves ready. He stands at the door and knocks, and if your awake, you invite him into your heart. He will come back in the same manner that he left the Earth. He will come back in the clouds. Jesus will return in His great "Second Coming" to reign over the Earth as "King of Kings" and "Lord of Lords".

Are you ready for the return of Jesus to the Earth? Many I am afraid will not be ready. Jesus said that "While the Bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept." It has been almost 2,000 years now since Jesus ascend in the clouds up to Heaven. Many have said, "where is the promise of His coming?"

What if he is now showing himself to those who were not sleeping? His promise is NOW.

Christ appears a second time, the Revelation (revealing) of Christ, in the hearts of individual believers, who have prepared the way for him to be revealed in them; he, who has been hidden within, is revealed. As Paul said: it has pleased the Father to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him. The appearance of Christ, his revelation within you, and entering the Kingdom of Heaven is the completion of salvation. Thousands have already experienced Christ's second appearance as revealed within them straight to thier hearts.

38 Therefore, whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; the Son of man will be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." Mark 8:38

John 14:18-23

18 I will not leave you comfortless like orphans; I will come to you.

19 Before long the world will no longer see me; but you will see me; and because I live, you will also live.

20 In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.3

21 He who has my commandments, and keeps them, it is he who loves me; and he who loves me, shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will show myself to him."4

22 Then Judas, not Iscariot, said to him, "Lord, how is it that you will show yourself to us, and not to the world?" [This means that Jesus ony appears for a second time to those disciples who have obeyed him, to be purified, and who are waiting on his return. He appears in a man's heart; but he is hidden to the world. This applies then to all true disciples, who carry their cross to crucify their lusts and affection, 2000 years ago until now.]

23 And Jesus answered and said to him, "If a man loves me, he will keep my words [obey me, practice my teachings]; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home5 with him [in his heart].

When Nicodemus questioned Jesus what it meant to be born of the Spirit, Jesus replied:

"You are Israel's teacher," said Jesus, "and do you not understand these things? I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. John 3:10-11
