He was a millionare by 30 and used his fortune to help others. Habitat built over 300,000 homes and helped over 1.5million people.

His sweat equity principle put a roof over many families. Habitat's projects can be found near every community, and their recycling stores offer good bargains.

He and his wife would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this August.
