cheers to you Beau--truth is involved in knowing who you really are--heart, mind, soul, motivations and intentions and being true to that core You..So many people are living a lie pretending to be what they are not--not knowing who they really are. It isn't easy to get to that truth. One wonders when they stop being their authentic real self and takes on a false identity. (I believe it happens in childhood) I personally (just my opinion) believe we aren't in 'truth' until we know who we really are and who we are meant to be.....

Hey Sister Wolfie!!

Hows it going?

I havent chatted with you for ages!

Yes, I so agree with what you shared and boy, is it not an easy task to do! Whats that scripture that says "Awake O Sleeper" or something like that -- I think it accurately describes the human condition as a whole -- we are all asleep, all numb, all somewhere else but "here", in the eternal now of God's reality -- How do you tell someone who is asleep they are asleep? How do you know that you are even awake, when you could be in a dreamland that seems to be similar to being "awake"?

When Jesus says "He who tries to find his soul will lose it, and he who loses his soul for my sake, will find it" -- I take him literally - it seems like he is talking about travelling through some great big black hole made of fear, doubt, hurt, pain and darkness while being protected by himself and the Spirit. Turns out this great big black hole is life itself - or at least life as defined and perceived by the "false self - conditioned self -ego" etc.

So whats on the other side? Probably something that resembles Jesus standing on a boat saying "Come, have faith - believe in me and cross over - do not believe what you see (or fail to see), but believe in me and be "saved" -- forget about all you have learned and been conditioned with -- I am the truth!"

So who are we? Or better yet -- Who are we meant to be? Am I really a helpless sinful creature who is doomed to be at the effect of external reality and my internal representations? Or am I a sinful creature who has the potential to better him or her self into something that resembles a child of God?

It has to be the latter! Otherwise the "good news" is nothing more a collection of post-it notes about some future time that has no power "now".

Ill always remember -- there is no time like the "Present"!

Cheers sis Wolfie! :hug::thumbsup::giverose:

you got everything I was saying Beau  I have had to face the fact that I have been a stranger to myself a huge part of my life. I have always wanted to be what Others wanted me to be --and give them what they wanted from me. That can be ok to a certain measure but not if it causes you to be a stranger to who you really are within your own skin--and so the journey to self-discovery begins--the journey to become authentic. I was never less real as a person than when I was a witness. I followed that outline to a T and fooled even myself for awhile--a long while....I too believe this is part of the 'truth' Jesus knew we had to recover--our own self...we are so on the same page--and remember Beau--Mama Wolfie loves you...

I think that the search for truth is the most important,...
I am very glad to hear that from you :), that I am not alone i this case.

So, unity, not truth, becomes their new goal,
Things have changed, because I do remember when truth was their goal.
It's really satisfying to hear that others have remarked the same thing, like you Jim

I appreciate really what you say. But what have happened among the Watchtower-society? I think the lack of love for God and the neigbour is a result of lack of holy spirit, wich should be a result of grieving the holy spirit. The holy spirit will surely be grieved when they oppress those who try to correct matters.

Dear brother Jan -
It's up-setting, I know, to try to understand their explanation. Because doesn't it make sense that Jehovah has already had His say in the pages of our Bibles, and especially in His Son's recorded words? There is no 'waiting' - God has spoken once for all times on this matter of 'truth'!

Hi Willa my dear sister :heartbeat:
Thanks for your exelent thoughts.
That there is no 'waiting'--- I liked especially :cheekkiss: A holy kiss to you.

(Matt 22:23) Paul also pointed out that there would become sects of Christianity (1 Cor 11:19) For there must also be sects among YOU, that the persons approved may also become manifest among YOU.

Hello brother Chuck,
I am really happy for you comment. I believe it too. Before the end of this system of things, it is just what it will be like.

Hello Brother,
Thanks for your great comment.
Yeah, faith without good deeds is infact dead.

Thanks a lot brother Bangalore for this information.
This again reveiled how they think, in enforced unity. Instead they should believe in the power of holy spirit, a unifying power in and between the congregations.
